Greater than one weekThis product works perfect! I enjoy soldering. I will no longer buy cheap crap, which crumbles and eats the tip of the soldering iron.

> 3 dayNot much to say. Its solder, with 40% lead in it. Flows and wets wonderfully compared to lead free. Well worth the marginal increase in cancer risk if you use it regularly. Just remember its not RoHS compliant, so dont use it for work purposes if you have to follow RoHS guidelines.

> 3 dayThe product itself is fine if you dont need recent production. If youre buying it chances are you know what youre buying and dont need a review for that. I bought 2 different rolls from this seller (different diameters). The first one the cardboard box was a bit beat up. On both the place where the date of manufacture usually is was peeled off. They put clear packaging tape over the top of the entire thing which makes it less noticeable. If you didnt know there was supposed to be a date of manufacture there you would probably never know the difference. According to Kesters own website the shelf life for flux cored solders is 2 or 3 years (depending on formulation) which is why they put a date of manufacture on them. For what I do it really doesnt matter. But if youre buying them for an application where that is important you dont want to buy from Amazon/this seller. In the future Ill just spend more $$$ and go with Digi-Key so I know what Im getting hasnt been laying around for a decade. It seems disingenuous to sell something as new which has a shelf life and then to remove the information from the package which states when it was made.
