PCIe Gen4 with a controller that goes at Gen 4 speeds. Ive seen cheaper NVMes that list as Gen 4 but the specs are more like Gen 3 or even Gen 2. This one is close to 7,500 MB/s which is Gen 4. When shopping, note the speeds of the drive and not if its Gen 3 or 4, etc. This is my first 1 TB NVMe as the main drive for my machine. So I have the OS, Office and games all on one drive which you may or may not think is a good idea but Im liking it.

This was supposed to be my game drive, but I had trouble installing windows on my 980 pro and had to swap them out. Windows 11 installed with no problem.

SSD M.2 perfecto luego ordenare otro

Lo instale en una laptop HP dy4013dx la cual tiene un PCI express v3 estoy totalmente conciente que al instalar esta M.2 en un PCIe v3 no iba a provechar al máximo su capacidad ya que este M.2 debe ser instalado en un PCie V4 para aprovechar en su totalidad su Lectura de 7300MB/s y Escritura de 6000MB/s, pero aun así estoy feliz con su rendimiento como lo muestro en las fotos que adjunto. Lo único que esta raro es que al momento de instalar el M.2 en mi laptop y luego proceder a instalar el SO, no lo reconocía y tuve que buscar unos drivers extras de almacenamiento para que lo pueda reconocer, otra cosa que hasta el momento no pude resolver es que primero intente usar este M.2 en una carcasa para usarlo como USB y poder clonar mi SO antiguo que tenia en otra M.2 a esta nueva M.2 pero tampoco lo reconocía (no estaba en mal estado mi carcasa ya que esta nueva y probé con otras carcasas, tampoco funcionaba el intentar darle volumen en Admin. de discos) finalmente me di por vencido y mejor instale un SO completamente desde cero, no se si sea algo de la marca por que intente hacer lo mismo con una M.2 Kingston SSD KC3000 y tampoco me lo permitió. Una vez que la M.2 queda instalada en la laptop (que por cierto es muy fácil de instalar) y lo reconoce la laptop, todo funciona a la perfección. Estoy muy contento con mi compra.

Bought for my PS5. Overall it is great, my only minor complaint is that they advertise up to 7300MBps it only manages around 6600MBps. I know its not a huge deal, and the up to isnt a guarantee, but it falling about 10% behind its rating is a bit of a disappointment. It is still plenty fast to pass the PS5 compatibility check when you install it.
