Greater than one weekGreat item - nice and sturdy. Because the holes are so small it really catches all the loose debris from dirty pots, pans, and dishes You do have to bang it a bit on top of a paper towel or directly into your garbage pail to get the food out of it but it definitely gets the job done!

> 3 dayI think these will be helpful in keeping the kitchen sewer line clear - we recently replaced the line. They are easy to use and we are amazed at the amount of food debris it catches that would normally go down the drain. We thought that the garbage disposal would take care of food debris but apparently it can settle in the line if the line is not properly angled.

> 3 dayI had the worst sink drain/stoppers ever! Its not a stopper, but I rarely, if ever, wanted to use my stopper, but it would always fall to the stop position anyway, which was very frustrating. This drain just sits very cleanly in the sink. Not much, if anything, gets through, which I love. When Im done rinsing things off in the sink, I just grab the little handle, usually get a small-size paper towel to scoop out the garbage, and its as clean as can be. And, it just makes the sink look so much nicer!

10-06-2025I am very impressed by the product. I dont want to spend 10 something dollars on the sink strainer, but the dollar store ones kept on either breaking apart or was not working properly.. so I finally gave in and bought one. It was so so worth it!! There is written instruction in Japanese, and it is sturdy and doesnt move around. The handle does not easily picked up by the glove worn fingers but I like that it is strong enough to hold itself down and wont let food slide by. It is bit pricey so I hope it lasts longer.. and this is April, 2022, it still looks the same and works great!

Greater than one weekVery nice looking and sturdy. Ive got a septic tank. The mesh is quite fine and while many particles just tap right out, smaller ones require the unit to be wiped. This should not dissuade a purchaser.

> 3 dayJul 20, 2022 2:33 PM I love this strainer! Our new modular home did not come equipped with a disposal (who knew?), so I have been trying very hard to keep food particles from slipping down the drain and into the septic, where it can cause problems. When I saw this product it looked like it would much more effective than the drain plug basket, which allowed too much to slip past. And it certainly is! With its Many fine holes, the water drains right through leaving a surprising amount of food debris behind, more than I imagined possible. I’m thrilled with this simple, inexpensive and effective way to keep our pipes and septic system free of food debris and the problems that come with it.
