> 3 dayI bought this to replace a cheap IR gun I had. The readings were way off and the Klein gun is spot on and feels much better manufactured.

> 3 dayGreat way to keep a check on farm equipment operating temperatures too. Wheel hubs, transmissions, final drives and implement gear boxes can be verified as running proper. Same for motors, compressors and electrical equipment. Bought it to use on a grilling salt block, but keep on finding uses. Some complaints of a 5 degree or so variance, but for most applications, negligible.

> 3 dayI bought it for diagnosing vehicle problems for a truck I ended up replacing with a newer one. But it is also very useful for letting you know when the cast iron is hot enough to start searing meat one.

> 3 dayUnit seems to work just fine, but the laser pointer is not very bright - its difficult to see outdoors. I had a Fluke 59 that had a much stronger/brighter laser - but its nearly twice the price of this unit. Also, the 9V battery that was included was DOA, not a deal breaker, but one more thing to be disappointed with. So long story short its a good value for a brand name, but... you get what you pay for.

> 3 dayI bought this to measure temps coming out of vents for JVAC usage. At best this product reads 10 degrees cooler than a standard temp probe that you would put into the vent. You get what you pay for.

> 3 daySeems to be accurate. More expensive than the cheep no name Chinese ones, Klein is a known brand (probably still made in China) but accurate, comfortable to use and the soft case is nice.
