> 3 dayWhen my portable A/C hose started splitting, I was going to buy a replacement unit complete with the plastic fittings on each end. Expensive. This generic exchaust vent hose is just fine -- no hassle to install in the plastic end fittings. Apparently these hoses are pretty much all the same diameter. Anyway, perfect solution, cant tell the difference from the original.

15-06-2025Refurbished does not mean clean. I purchased 2 units. One has a broken vent and smells like cigarettes. You can see that the blowers dirty in units. There is another broken bit of plastic from inside the other unit but I cant find where it came from. The shipping boxes were in good shape so that leads me to think that both units shipped from the factory broken.. Both units work but are louder than my LG.

Greater than one weekI have an older LG (LP1214GXR) and a newer Honeywell (HL10CESWW) portable A/C units. Went to setup and use the LG over the weekend and the old & brittle duct split and fell apart in my hands. Spent time searching the replacement parts websites and came across this duct for $25 and I figured it was worth a try before shelling out $$ for a replacement from the other sites. Since its a Prime item, it arrive in less than 2 days, and not only is it a perfect fit for both units, its construction is much more durable than that of the OEM ducts that came with either unit! I was so pleased, I immediately ordered a second one to put away as a just-in-case backup.

> 3 dayI was thrilled that this replacement hose was able to give me my LG portable AC unit back! We are in the midst of a heat wave, and my upstairs was an oven. I like it even better than the original as hose is easily shortened if needed. Hoping its durable. Too soon to tell.

> 3 dayI bought this as a replacement for my OEM hose which started to split. The fit on this was perfect and install was a breeze. Durability seems to be good. Overall highly recommend if looking for an inexpensive replacement.

> 3 dayWhile it feels pretty strong, this thing is thin. The original hose that came with my LG unit had disintegrated and was being held together by duct tape but it felt about 3x as thick as this. This hose replaced it perfectly, was easier to replace than expected, fit with no issues, but man its paper thin. I know these units are designed for portability, and as a landlord I generally use it as a spare conditioner when something blows up and Im waiting for a central AC guy to get out on the hottest day of the year, but man. Un-extended this has about the heat dissipation of the old one extended. This isnt a huge issue as I can back it up to a window and put a towel or insulation over it, but yeah, an already not cost efficient cooling solution becomes less so. That said, its $40 or so less expensive than LGs replacement part, and it works. The amount of time to make up that dollar difference is several months of continual use, so probably not a huge issue for most.
