Simply an amazing set for the space nerd in all of us. My only suggestion is to note the pieces needed for the lunar module, command module, and service module and order an extra set using the brick picker at legos website. The base set only comes with one and an extra of each helps improve the display.

Collectors beware, I received the newer version of this model, not the 21309. Seller gave me a full refund. My review is for the 21309 I bought elsewhere. As far as the model goes, this is definitely five stars. It is a blast to assemble, has tons of accurate features and it displays well. It is huge! I only wish the csm had more detail, but thay wouldnt really be possible at this Lego scale. I recommend building it a stand if you intend to display vertically.

If you love space and Lego then this is a must buy! I have a Estes Saturn V model but this Lego set puts it to shame in size. The build quality on this set is incredible. The intricacies and building techniques are very neat for a Lego set. The set is also very sturdy when together and the stages fit together snugly, so feel free to pick up the rocket and make rocket noises as you move it through the air! It is sturdy, yet easy to disassemble the stages to be displayed separately. This will make a great addition to any Lego or space collection!
