I am sorry I had to pay extra due to limited supply, but even at the price, this was totally worth it. One of the best sets weve gotten, and we have several high dollar sets. Very sturdy once built, and fun to build.

Ive been building for almost two decades now, and this is my favorite set Ive ever built. The scale is awe-inspiring, stages are very clever, and tons of neat features. A must-buy for any Lego fan, especially at MSRP.

Major design flaws. Impossible to assemble. Do not waste your money.

Very cool model of the Saturn V. For this to celebrate watching the moon landing as a teenager, 50 years ago!

This set is stunning. Build took me around 3 hours, and is not overly complicated. Seeing this set come together is one of the more exciting Lego builds that Ive ever done. As you get close to the finish, the scale of this is incredible. At 39 tall, it looks beautiful displayed upright or horizontally, and feels quite sturdy. You can pull apart the separate stages and put the lander inside as well. Its impressive how accurately this simulates how the real thing worked. Oh and the astronaut minifigs are TINY. Like smaller than a single 1x1 brick. Once you see their scale next to the rocket, its even more amazing that NASA pulled this off back in the day with less computing power than we all carry around in our pockets every day.

So well designed with all the right rocket things in all the right rocket places. I alternate the Redstone Arsenal horizontal static display, with the tall and proud dont let your cats near it display options. Very nice design.

absolutely gargantuan, stands about a meter tall and is an excellent replica. Love it!

Arrived on time and there was no damage. Was challenging, however, fun to assemble.

Collectors beware, I received the newer version of this model, not the 21309. Seller gave me a full refund. My review is for the 21309 I bought elsewhere. As far as the model goes, this is definitely five stars. It is a blast to assemble, has tons of accurate features and it displays well. It is huge! I only wish the csm had more detail, but thay wouldnt really be possible at this Lego scale. I recommend building it a stand if you intend to display vertically.

The meter-high LEGO NASA Apollo Saturn V is the perfect model rocket to both display and role play with. Packed with authentic details, it features 3 removable rocket stages (first, s-ii second, and s-ivb third) a launch escape system, a command and service module along with the Lunar Lander and Lunar Orbiter to recreate a rocket launch and splashdown landing. There are also 2 new-for-june-2017 Astronaut minifigures and 1 microfigure for role-play recreations of the Moon landings. This building toy includes an informational booklet about the manned Apollo missions and the fan designers who created this educational LEGO Ideas set. Builders have the option to horizontally display the Saturn V model with the 3 stands.
