My Star Wars fans were thrilled with this lego set! They LOVE legos and star wars so this was the perfect birthday present. Lego Star Wars items are definitely pricey but Amazon usually has competitive pricing so you probably wont find a better price unless you buy used. My 7 year old twins were able to do most of the assembling themselves with just the occasional question. My only complaint is that sets like these never stay together in our house and then the pieces get mixed in with all the other legos and the set is never reassembled again. These might be better for slightly older kids who can keep the pieces together.

My nephew loved the tie fighter and put it together in an hour.

We were missing a pair of 3x3 red flat bricks. It’s disappointing to not get all the parts from a company that’s usually pretty reliable as far as delivering all the pieces. I wouldn’t buy right now because it’s likely we got the same faulty batch.

My kids were quite happy to receive this set as a birthday present... They said they loved the Star Wars Rebels’ series and Major Vonn Reng’s ship was the coolest tie they’ve ever seen. The set is easy to build, sturdy and strong and the figures are OK. I bought ours here at Amazon for 60 dollars. Insane seeing folks asking more than 100 dollars for this set.

I always take my grandsons for their birthday weekend. We shop, eat...movies, etc. as this year my 6YO grandson’s birthday was preempted by Covid19, we did a FaceTime and had lunch together, and then shopped amazon! He loves it! And LEGO’s are always a good value and lots of entertainment!

This fighter is wicked cool. Easy and fun to assemble and the color scheme is just badass. Im not really sure about playability it does kinda have an awkward shape to it. I can say it looks good on a shelf. You can never have too many Tie Fighters or X-Wings. I almost like this one more than the Black Ace but its still a toss up. I of course was not to find this one when it first came out so I did pay a little more for it such is the case with supply and demand. As an AFOL I do enjoy looking at this one so I guess its worth it.

Soo this is a pretty addition to my Resistance v. First Order collection. I love the TIE Interceptor since the original Battlefront II on PSP. This is an ever better version than the original! Its like a mix between Vaders TIE Advanced with the wide body, wide arm-to-wing connection, and back half of the wings with the TIE Interceptors front half of the wings. That glam red is sooo much more attractive than the typical primary black and secondary grey. I also like how this, like the other recent TIEs, integrate the projectiles; it is discrete, actually part of the authentic look, and doesnt set off easily, unlike the X-Wings super-sensitive projectiles. The built of this TIE is solid, more so than the original First Order Tie thanks to that Technic internal structure. Unfortunately, that build also makes the wings a bit wobbly, but it is worth the exchange. I can swish this without worry. The minifigs included are of great value. Every minifigures comes with a non-projectile blaster (except the astromech), and each one is unique. I prefer that over the First Order Tie that, while comes with good army-building mini figures, has those officers and engineers which arent unique or intimidating. Im biased, though. Id want an army of Special Forces and Praetorian Guards for my Resistance army to fight a valiant but loosing battle against. Now the cons. This should have came with a dock to set the TIE in. The TIE tends to fall forward in non-flat surfaces, like carpet. In general, this TIE doesnt set as well as the X-Wings do. It would only take a handful of Technic pieces to hold the wings up. Then there is the original price. Wow, so not worth it. It is the most appealing set I have seen in a while, but in spite of that I would never purchase this at full price. I got it on the cheap, with a grand total of $41. I wouldnt spend more than $45 on it. The piece/$ ratio is terrible, as has been the trend over the years. I cant in good conscience suggest getting this at full price, even though it is my favorite Star Wars set.

This was a big hit. Very cool.

Give kids a great introduction to the Star Wars Resistance TV series with this LEGO Star Wars 75240 Major Vonreg’s TIE Fighter starship construction toy. This detailed model includes a special black and red color scheme, opening cockpit with space to sit the Major Vonreg minifigure inside, plus 2 spring-loaded shooters that are fired by moving the trigger left and right. This building toy also includes General Leia and Kaz Xiono LEGO Star Wars minifigures and an R1-J5 droid LEGO figure, a.k.a. Bucket.
