I purchased this as a gift for my 10 year old nephew. Needless to say, he loved it. The lego set arrived promptly and in a box that protected the actual box from damage. Five stars.

If you have a 10 year old kid that loves Mario but wont stop bothering you, this set will keep your kid preoccupied for a whole day. Worth it

My son didn’t even finish this set and has pretty much given up on it. He loves putting together legos but was immediately frustrated because there was no instruction book, and the online instructions left major parts out. I googled the instructions on my iPad and tried to help him, but he was completely disinterested. Such a bummer because it looks like a fun set.

My son was so excited to get this. He has most of the other sets. I got the standard version and not the frustration free packaging since it was cheaper. My 8 year old has had no issues with it. And expensive set but you get a fair amount for the price. $135 was too steep, im glad there was a cheaper option

Fun to put together, terrible to play with. The design mechanics on this set are just a complete fail. The idea of stomping on different levers to launch things just doesnt work and you end up breaking the kit nine times out of ten just trying to do what the set is designed to do. My son was extremely disappointed. Bad showing from both Lego and Nintendo.
