I loved the laptop, but after 3 weeks the usb-c port stopped working. Lenovo instructed me to send the laptop to them for repair. I was told that it would be evaluated and repaired and sent back to me in 5 days. I followed up with customer service via chat when the laptop had been at the repair center for 5 days - there was no update on the online tracking other than the device had been received. Customer service was not able to tell me anything I couldnt see on the online tracking and told me the repair would be another 3 days. I went through this dance two or 3 more times before giving up. It took ~ a month for me to get the laptop back at which point Id already replaced it because I needed a working laptop for my business. I received an email AFTER I got the laptop back saying that my laptop was on the way.

I’ve had this laptop for a couple weeks now and I’ve really been liking it! I love that it is touchscreen and that the keyboard lights up. That’s really useful when it’s dark. It works really well, not many complaints. But there are a few. First, it came late but it’s not their fault. Second, when I got it, it was “Out-Dated” and needed an update. I think that they could have already done the update before sending the laptop. Third, the battery (for me) doesn’t last long but it’s gets me through a couple hours before it needs a charge. I also love that they have a “Fast-Charge” option. That’s really handy. Also, it’s really light compared to other laptops, so that’s a plus! I really recommend buying it!

Exactly what I wanted

I purchased this computer around December of 2019 (not from amazon, but from Bestbuy). It has been excellent overall. I am most impressed by its memory capacity and its speed. The keyboard is very good also and allows very fast typing. The touchscreen works well, although I dont have much use for that. One drawback for me is that it didnt come with MS Word, although some sources (Bestbuy possibly) may give you this option with an extra payment. So I downloaded OpenOffice and LibreOffice. One thing which is also missing is an HDMI port, so I bought two converters, one converting from HDMI to USB C, and another for HDMI to USB 3.0 (standard). One of these will have to be purchased if you want to use HDMI.

used for schoolwork so not a heavy demand , but it did what I wanted it to do with no problems. It seems very well made as others feel like they would break, love the hinges. There is nothing I dont like about it yet and cant imagine there will be

Im 24, my generation hardly cares about customer service, we just take things and move on but I feel this must be mentioned as it could be helpful to others. I spent a pretty penny on this less than a year ago (July 2020) - I expected it to behave for at least 2 years before I began seeing problems. 1. My USB c port stopped working, and 2. the finger print pad works less than half of the time.
