Lexar is a well-established name in digital storage. This flash drive is a good value at current prices. At USB 3.0, the transfer speeds are very good. Recommended with a 5 star rating.

I use these for high-end items I sell on another platform. They are very inexpensive and great.

2020 being what it is, I dont see as many people as I used to but I still have to exchange data in bulk with some of them. To do this, I really need flash drives. I was offered this one, and I had to get it. This flash drive wont break any speed records and is a bit slower than my other USB3.0 flash drives, but at only $12, it is ideal for sharing files with others on the off-chance that you dont get it back. It has a removable (i.e. lose-able) plastic cap, there isnt a key-chain loop, and it certainly doesnt encrypt the data. The fact is, I mostly use a flash drive to get data from here to there and this is perfect for that. Buy half a dozen for the office and stop wasting time looking for a free flash drive. Highly recommend for what it is.

Amazing how much USB flash drives have gone down in price. 64 GB for a USB 3.0 for just a dozen dollars? Nice! Like many USB 3.0 drives from reputable brands, this is a fast performer, though not as fast as my Patriot Supersonic Rage drive. What I dont like about this Lexar drive, however, is that the USB portion is not retractable. It is instead protected by a cap that could be easily lost. In addition, as someone who is in IT Security, I do not like using a third party encryption software, especially when Lexar is now owned by a Chinese company where we may not easily be able to detect whether theres a backdoor left behind for the Chinese government. Id hate to bring this USB drive to China for work, only for the authorities there to be able to decrypt company secrets. Id rather much at minimum use encryption by the likes from Microsoft using its BitLocker technology, for example.

Not much to it- it holds the data its supposed to. Data transfer is as quick as one should expect. And the drive has held up after several uses. 64GB is pretty decent at this price point and sufficient for most uses. I love it when things simply do what theyre supposed to do.

Every time I unplug and then plug back it says there is a problem with this drive; scan and fix

Very useful and easy to use. Had a 128 G that only worked for a year.
