Lixit Chinchilla Dust (27oz)

I literally opened this and my chinchilla started running around waiting for it. That tells a lot about the quality. he was too excited to roll in it!

Ever since my local pet store replaced my chinchillas favorite dust bath dust with an inferior Store Brand (way too gritty), I resolved to find something better. Lixits Blue Cloud Dust has been a great substitute for her original brand, and, in fact, even better. The dust is very fine, which allows better and deeper fur coverage, and its a great price. Its even great for giving my long-hair hamsters a light bath. The original purchase was blind, but I think its safe to say this is my new go-to product. Thanks, guys.

I liked it was a blue sparkly made my girls looked great. Plus they seemed to like it better then previous brands

If youve never watched a Chinchilla take a dust bath before it is quite entertaining. He absolutely loves this dust.

As the primary housekeeper of our family, I must be nuts for purchasing dust. But the chinch is worth it. Robert Paulson loves this stuff. I mix in a little baking soda just to help him to stay fresh.

This stuff doubles as bath and then litter for my hamster. He enjoys cleaning himself in it and I give him a fresh scoop everyday. Its the same quality stuff that I buy at the local big pet store only a lot cheaper!

This dust is really thick and cheap compared to other brands I have tried. My chins dont really get clean after bathing in this and arent even that attracted to it... Buy Oxbow instead.

Although I dont own a chinchilla I do give this to my hamsters and they love it. At first Luna our female rolled, dug and played in it like a chinchilla. Her son Wolfrik (separate cages) played in this since he was a baby with his brothers and sisters. All of the babies loved to dig and play in it but as they have gotten older they found a use for it I didnt expect. As much as I loved to watch them play in it I am loving their new use. Without meaning to I have litter trained my hamsters like kittens! I look forward to letting the rats play in it too.

we are very happy with purchase...our chinchillas use every few days...the size is great. comes with scoop...love the twist cover to keep tight
