Im on my third Logitech G300s. Thats for one simple reason: you wont find another gaming mouse this good for this cheap. Lets start with the ergonomics. Theyre good. After a full 8-hour workday or marathon gaming session, youll find no hand or wrist pain. The flared base supports the meaty parts of your palm, while grippy, silicon cushioning along the sides keep the thumb and pinky in place. Then theres the button feel, which is great. The left and right buttons are tactile and clicky, as are the four macro buttons, while the scroll wheel has excellent articulation points without being too hard to move. That means you can easily switch guns in a shooter OR scroll long webpages without any issue. Speaking of those macro buttons, lets talk about the software. The best thing about this mouse is the ability to save three profiles directly to the device. That means I can toss it in a bag with my secondary laptop and never worry about losing my shortcuts. Since I write all day, Ive programmed them as shortcuts for cut, copy, paste, and duplicate. When I want to knock out some writing at the coffee shop, I bring the G300s with me and the onboard memory means I never lose those shortcuts, no matter what computer Im using. They even work when I plug it into my phone. All of that on a mouse that can go as low as $15 on sale. I have a few more of these stockpiled, since they tend to break after about 3-4 years of daily use. I never want to use another mouse again.

The mouse is relatively comfortable even in my giant hands, and as a leftie, and certainly does its job well. If I was to utilize the extra buttons on it, Id like it FAR more than the usual gaming mouses buttons, as theyre placed differently, and their location is FAR superior in that it is far less likely for me to accidentally bump them while using it. Ive had a more classically laid out gaming mouse, and could not stand where the buttons were placed because I would constantly bump them. All in all, its a good mouse, especially so if youre looking for a cheaper priced gaming mouse. Id certainly say to give it a go if youre on the hunt for a new moose. Er... louse? House... no no thats not right... AH WELL, you get the point haha

this is such a breath of fresh air for me as a small hand PC user, I usually am pretty dang uncomfortable using most gaming mice but this one feels very comfortable in my tiny hand, the only downside is that if you have multiple Logitech devices you may run into problems because of the TWO INCOMPATIBLE applications for button mapping and other settings, this one uses Logitch Gaming Software whereas my headset and keyboard use Logitch G Hub, very commonly one will crash when I open the other and it drives me insane....

For such a low price and such great performance, this is by far my favorite mouse Ive ever owned. It doesnt have that industrial heavy duty feel of a $70 high end mouse, but for $30 youre going to get a lot out of it. My favorite thing about it is the four additional buttons and their placement. It takes a bit to get used to them, and not every game will benefit from having 4 additional mouse buttons. However most games, especially games which require quick access to a lot of commands (Dota, PUBG, Battlefield) really highlight why the typical 2 extra buttons on other gaming mice arent enough. Typically in an FPS Ill bind the top left button to crouch, and the bottom left to prone. The benefit of this is I dont have to take my left hand fingers off any of the movement keys while I do those actions. On top of that I can bind throwing a grenade to the top right button instead of the typical G key so I can move and aim while throwing a grenade (very useful in a game like Black Ops 3). In Dota and any other RTS/MOBA the benefits are pretty obvious with how many commands are available to you. Growing up using a controller trained my right hand to be the most dextrous, so having a mouse that takes advantage of that instead of using my left hand for nearly everything is very nice. Hardware like this highlights why the custom experience PC gaming provides is the best.

Worked fine until exactly the 2-year mark. Daily but not overheavy or abusive use. The trigger button under the left-click then started malfunctioning: double-clicking for a single-click; requiring a forceful push to make any click at all. I opened it up to inspect: no dust or grime. Gave up and spent $20 on eBay for an ancient (turn-of-the-century) Logitech MX510, now my third, which I know to be built with quality components!

I play with an 18 button MMO mouse and I am convinced that this mouse with all the buttons on top is dumb compared to the 12 button thumb style. But that is personal preference and I am opinionated and I stand by my statement that this design is dumb. But my son likes it and this is his second one.

Ill keep my review brief, but note the following points: * Overall a pretty good overall * Use it as a lefty mouse and, like some reviewers, havent found anything better on the market. * Build quality feels okay, nothing special. Its like a generic Dell mouse with something extra that kicks it up a notch. Maybe its the rubber grip or the fine-tuned *click* of the mouse button. Who knows. * Starting to notice that left button (normally, a right button if using right hand) is acting funky with just about two years of causal use. I see one reviewer gave the mouse one star for durability. I think thats a little low. This is a decent mouse for the price and, as mentioned above, is probably the best option for left-handed users who dont want to spend a hundred bucks or more on something.

When I say the left mouse button started to go that means the dreaded double clicking and signal degradation that comes with repeated use. Im a guy who sits at his computer A LOT, and aside from some minor gripes and the longevity issue, this is a great mouse. It has checked almost all my boxes for a mouse, not that im picky, i just want quality. This thing lasted me a little under a year, or maybe even a little less before the dreaded double clicking started. Mind you, I was still using it even after the left mouse button signal had gone wonky. It wasnt pleasant, but depending on what you were doing, you could make it work. I cursed at the thing a lot though. I just had to learn to click really hard and decisively if i was say, dragging a window. It was really annoying to say the least, and added a whole new layer of difficulty to many games and such, even making some near impossible as it got worse. After all that, for 15 bucks and the amount of clicking I do, I think this thing has done its job. I THINK. Anyway, thats why im ordering a 2nd one! I tell ya, the power of being used to something is strong. Also it makes things easy because I already have the software and such downloaded (for customizing the lights and DPI). I got almost a year out of the mouse (including the time where i just dealt with the stupid messed up button). I played world of warcraft, hearthstone, etc., and did work related things heavily with it. Im going to keep track of exactly when the left clicker on this one goes bad so i can reference it with the purchase, and maybe ill update my review if its still relevant.
