> 3 dayThese mice are great for gaming. However, they DO NOT last long. I just bought my third one in three years. The button placement is ideal for me.

> 3 dayIm on my third Logitech G300s. Thats for one simple reason: you wont find another gaming mouse this good for this cheap. Lets start with the ergonomics. Theyre good. After a full 8-hour workday or marathon gaming session, youll find no hand or wrist pain. The flared base supports the meaty parts of your palm, while grippy, silicon cushioning along the sides keep the thumb and pinky in place. Then theres the button feel, which is great. The left and right buttons are tactile and clicky, as are the four macro buttons, while the scroll wheel has excellent articulation points without being too hard to move. That means you can easily switch guns in a shooter OR scroll long webpages without any issue. Speaking of those macro buttons, lets talk about the software. The best thing about this mouse is the ability to save three profiles directly to the device. That means I can toss it in a bag with my secondary laptop and never worry about losing my shortcuts. Since I write all day, Ive programmed them as shortcuts for cut, copy, paste, and duplicate. When I want to knock out some writing at the coffee shop, I bring the G300s with me and the onboard memory means I never lose those shortcuts, no matter what computer Im using. They even work when I plug it into my phone. All of that on a mouse that can go as low as $15 on sale. I have a few more of these stockpiled, since they tend to break after about 3-4 years of daily use. I never want to use another mouse again.

> 3 daySorry to say this. My wife loves it but I cannot use it. It is really small and light mouse and driving me crazy. I used it for about month. I was so mad as it was so small. The functionality is ok and it works great but it is for small hands, maybe kid or women.

> 3 dayIt was a great budget gaming mouse until I made the mistake of updating the macro software from 9*02*65 (201810 8) to 9*04*49 (2022 525). Now its only good for simple office apps. At least on my computer, macros dont properly generate mouse clicks (only keystrokes) and generating a mouse wheel roll will crash the software. Tech support isnt very helpful, and I have little hope theyll expend the resources to fix the software in a timely manner. The mouse can work on its own for basic customization, but complicated macros require the Logitech Gaming Software which is being replaced by G Hub. Unfortunately G Hub doesnt support the G300s. I wouldnt buy this mouse today for gaming.

> 3 daythis is a good mouse with buttons in the right places if like me you mouse left handed this should work pretty well for you my only complaint is the weight it is too light so if you like a heavier mouse you may want the more expensive one that has a weight system but is not quite as ambi as this one is

> 3 dayI’ve been using this mouse for over a year now. My mouse gets a lot of use daily! I have small hands and almost every other mouse I’ve ever had in the past 20+ years (from the cheapest ones to Razor ones) has left my hands aching. And often some buttons have just been too difficult to use. This mouse doesn’t have as many programmable buttons as many of my past ones, but it has at least as many as I’ve ever been able to reliably use. I haven’t missed the extra buttons at all. The smaller size means my clicks actually go through, and my hand doesn’t ache all the time! I spent a bunch of time researching smaller mice (and reading so many reviews) before I chose this one to try. I do not regret my choice. After a year or so of hard use, I started to notice some slight issues with the clicking. I’ve had enough experience now to not wait until it becomes a bigger problem, so I ordered a replacement. My last 2 Razors each lasted longer, but in the end, the clickers in them still went. They were more expensive to replace so I continued to use them way too long that way. I could have kept using my old one, it was still fine most of the time, only giving me issues with pretty specific uses. And my partner was able to get multiple switches for less then half the cost of replacing it, so I could have just used it with a new clicker If I’d wanted to. But now we have a backup mouse the next time someone’s mouse dies. Or I have a few replacements I know I like, if they stop making this model (which happened with the one mouse I previously really liked).

> 3 dayGoing along with the many positive reviews about the G300ss advantages, Ill agree it is a good buy for a bit over $20. It functions as it should and seems to be built well. Id forgotten I had this mouse until recently when I discovered it in a junk box of computer stuff. What--looks unused and its a Logitech . . . ? So I hooked it up and pretty soon I remembered why I tossed it in storage. The left and right sides of the G300s mirror each other, so there are twin buttons on either top front corner; this means that my middle finger rests not only on the right click button but also against one of those top corner buttons. Unintended clicks occurred immediately. So I had to download and install Logitechs less-than-stellar software in order to turn off the problematic buttons. The thing is, although Im a righty, I cant imagine a lefty with similarly sized hands would be able to avoid the opposite version of this problem. Like many mouse manufacturers, Logitech is prone to sticking extra buttons anywhere as a misguided marketing ploy. In conclusion: ambidextrous, great; button layout, atrocious.

> 3 dayI dont care if it becomes obsolete, when i get money i am buying 30 of these and stock pilling them. This is the only mouse i can play CS:GO with. I have tried over 10 other ones and I CANNOT PLAY WITH THEM. its the way it fits in my hand. the way it tracks, everything about this mouse to me is perfection. ONLY DOWNSIDE, i see myself buying a new one every year or more often like every 8 months or so. It does not last however they got me hooked so i dont even care anymore lmao

> 3 dayWorked fine until exactly the 2-year mark. Daily but not overheavy or abusive use. The trigger button under the left-click then started malfunctioning: double-clicking for a single-click; requiring a forceful push to make any click at all. I opened it up to inspect: no dust or grime. Gave up and spent $20 on eBay for an ancient (turn-of-the-century) Logitech MX510, now my third, which I know to be built with quality components!
