11-06-2025Shape is weird, small and fat, and the mouse as a whole is not worth this price.

> 3 dayI really want to like this mouse. I like the Logitech keyboards. However I cannot get the bluetooth to connect to my Macbook Pro at all. The USB dongle works, but the Logitech hub software could not configure most of the features on the mouse. Maybe the Logitech Hub software need to be upgraded. For now, at a Mac user, this is not a good option.

> 3 dayI am not a gamer, but I ordered this mouse to go with the Logitech keyboard I just ordered. I am replacing the mouse and keyboard that came with my Dell XPS desktop computer with these models. I wanted a mouse that is more responsive, and this Logitech model definitely is responsive. Some people say its too sensitive, but I love it. I want a mouse that moves quickly and smoothly. After using this mouse for a few days, I would say that its my second favorite mouse next to the one that came with my iMac Pro computer. But for use with Windows computers, its my favorite one. Its small, comfortable, and the battery lasts a long time before you need to recharge it. My only complaint is that I think the mouse is overpriced. I think a fair price for this mouse would be about $60. For the current price of $100, there are other models you might want to consider before making your final decision.

> 3 dayI have smallish hands so the shape didnt bother me. Audible clicks. No endless scrolling. Sensitive mouse even the tiniest movements can result with the mouse being on the other side of the screen. I gave it a week but I just prefer my previous mouse.

12-06-2025This mouse in all honesty is horrible for gaming. The latency is significantly delayed. Its very laggy and NOT AT ALL lightweight. There are so many better mice than this that are cheaper.

> 3 dayI have tried a lot of mice to find one that suits my hand and grip style. I had found the Prime Wireless Mini and that was my daily driver for a while. But the G705 is my new go-to. The ergonomics of the G705 is top notch. It has reduced hand fatigue from long sessions, by a lot. The only downside is the sensor, it’s limited to 8k DPI, but I’m ok with that given that it’s more comfortable… I play mostly FPS and would like the higher DPI, but I can’t say my performance was greatly reduce by going down (after adjusting in game settings to account). I am a guy, but have small/average hands, and usually go between palm and claw grip. The thing about this mouse is your hand actually rests ON the mouse. Bigger mice have a slope in the back and your hand slips down... and I find the fatigue mostly from trying to keep my hand in position on those mice… Like, why did it take so long to design a good mouse? Good job Logitech- you did it. This is the pinnacle of ergonomic gaming mice. I will rebuy it if you release one with a high end sensor, seriously please take my money…

> 3 dayIm quite liking this mouse so far. Ive been using a Logitech MX Anywhere 3 for the last year or so and really liked it, but I was looking for something with the same compact form and a little more lightweight. The G705 fits the bill nicely. Like the MX Anywhere its ideal for those with smaller hands (though it shouldnt feel too small if you have larger hands), and at 85g its significantly lighter. The design is fairly simple so theres little to object to here. Even after many hours of use its still very comfortable. The buttons are well placed and the RGB lighting is a nice touch. The only feature its missing is the ability to switch between three devices at a click, a feature I really like with my MX Anywhere. Of course thats not a priority with a gaming mouse, and it would only add extra weight, but its worth bearing in mind if you use your the same mouse for gaming and regular work.

> 3 dayWorks great and feels amazing. Very customizable options in the Logitech app. Only minor con it is a little smaller in size compared to other designs. I love the matte texture and the Bluetooth feature works smoothly and super easy to connect to your device.

> 3 dayLogitechs G705 gaming mouse is an attractive, compact, ergonomic gaming mouse with high DPI range and lots of customization options made available via G-shift and the G-hub software. Given the current price of around $92, I feel the mouse lacks features I consider basic, like infinite scroll, side to side scrolling, or one button device switching without having to flip over the mouse. So theres some glaring oversights with regards to the features this mouse does, and doesnt come with. I was able to take advantage of G-shift in Logitechs G-hub software to allow for easy profile switching by remapping the center DPI button to serve as the G-shift toggle. This allowed me to remap the side forward and back buttons to serve as my left and right scroll buttons whenever I press and hold the G-shift button. I cant seem to live without side to side scrolling, but theres a ton of other functions, actions, and system commands you can assign to any of the buttons on the G705. While Im glad that the mouse offers so much customization, I really wish I didnt have to waste two of my G-shift buttons on side to side scrolling. For the price, the mouse should have both infinite scrolling, and side to side scrolling. Man would this be a killer mouse if it did! Either way, its still a great mouse, but not what Id call a 5-star product as a result of the feature oversight. The mouse is very comfortable for my smallish lady hands and the buttons are placed appropriately and where I naturally expect them to be. That said, the buttons all make a fairly audible click sound when pressed, well, all of them except the scroll wheel click which is silent. Scrolling is silent. Another feature oversight, is the lack of an easy way to switch between bluetooth connection and wireless connection without having to flip over the mouse and press the button on the bottom. This would have made a great feature that would have allowed quick and easy switching between two connected hosts. Other mice at this price range include this feature as well. Theres also no dock for the USB receiver on the mouse. So you have to keep track of it when youre not using it since theres no convenient way to store it onboard. Glaring oversight. But the mouse does have really smooth movements thanks to the large teflon pads on the bottom. These should hold up well over time, and resist gaining traction as time goes on due to their simple shapes and large size which make for easy cleaning and maintenance. Otherwise the mouse is fairly standard, with customizable RGB lights like you see on any other gaming mouse. Nothing special, and you can turn them off if you like as well for a more neutral appearance. All in all its a comfortable mouse to use with a wide range of programmability available thanks to the inclusion of G-shift functionality. But theres some key features missing that really would have taken the G705 to the next level.
