Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Nintendo Switch

Love the game and great way for family and friends to enjoy!

Classic game Ive wanted since 3ds never purchased. So glad I finally gave into purchasing a Mario kart. Purchased the orzly 4pk wheels to play with the whole family. Only played 2 player mode. Mario and King boo love to cheat. Couldnt get past 3rd place , I guess I need to be them. The graphics are wonderful, very simple to just jump in and enjoy. My only issue was camera angles. Ill figure that out later.

I never got a chance to play this on the Wii U so when I was able to get the switch version on Amazon for under retail I jumped on it. Mario Kart is always a fun party game and 8 Deluxe looks incredible. It plays nicely in handheld and in docked mode. If you never played Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U or you want to upgrade to a version with all the DLC I definitely recommend picking this one up.

Ordered this for my son for his birthday. Of course I had to open it up before giving it to him lol. It was just what I was wanting and can’t wait to see his face light up in the next couple of days.

I will start with the bad: 1 and 2 actually have to do with the setup of controllers rather than the game. 1. If using separate the right joy con sync button is millimeters from the use item button. 2. If using separate the home button to go to the main menu Is very easily pressed if younger player is using the controller or someone with bigger hands? I could easily hold it differently but I also wear an xs womens glove. 3. Not enough new content for those who had the original MK8 since release which I know is the minority of people. Ive only had MK8 since August and played maybe a dozen or so times and while I love MK8D for pure nostalgia and clean entertainment, just like I still play MK64, I wouldnt otherwise. It would collect dust and would make me angry that really theres nothing new racing wise. Pickings are slim for games on the switch a few new tracks really would make a huge difference in most peoples minds. The good: 1- My 4 year old finished in 4th in a race 8th overall! No one had to finish playing then do her 3 laps! She didnt give up in frustration halfway through a tournament. No complaining that she lost. The auto acceleration and steering is amazing. 2- Perfect family game. 3- I am not a techie but whoever says the picture quality is pretty much the same is crazy! Or they need a new tv. I have a 4 month old Samsung 1080p tv 42 inches and the picture quality is amazing. Load time is nearly instant.

Bought this along with the Switch for my kids for Christmas. They werent too sure about it, but after playing it we were all hooked. The amount of customization you can do with your carts is so neat for them. Theres a ton of characters, maps, game modes etc. This is fun for the whole family no doubt. But what do you expect? Its Nintendo AND Super Mario

This was a gift. I bought extended warranty. Can you tell me when it was purchased? A year ago last Christmas I think

Great racing game, easy to learn. Fun for a family or date night, or single player

Works with no issues and couldn’t beat the price.
