> 24 hourYou plug this speaker into a power outlet. This consistent power appears to make a difference I did not expect—clarity I have not experienced in any other Bluetooth speaker. It connected without problems to my phone and invited me to download an app. The sound is so good that you can tell the relative qualities of the streaming services by listening to the same song from different sources. Clarity, power, and range—aside from its vintage look, the sound from this device makes it a worthy investment. Recommended without reservation—

> 24 hourEasy to pair, very simple operation, and shockingly good sound from such a small package. As an owner of a Marshall amp, the Action III has the same aesthetics with the gold face and knobs, the vintage grille cloth, and the thick heavy cabinet. It even has a little something that their amps dont. Instead of a line on the bass, treble, and volume knobs that displays the level, the Action III has LEDs around the knobs which light up as you move clockwise. Its smaller than a shoebox and my fingertips reach around the top, but its difficult to pick up one handed due to its weight. Youre not going to accidentally knock it off of your table or counter without some effort. This speaker is not rechargeable. It’s powered by an AC cord. This may be a disadvantage to some because you won’t be taking it on a picnic unless an outlet is nearby. Your device will recognize the available connection as Action III. If you know the functions of bass, treble, and volume, youve got it mastered. It doesnt get any easier. Being an AC powered unit, it does appear to play considerably louder than a rechargeable speaker. It has excellent bass and crystal clear highs coming from twin tweeters. The midrange seems to be just a bit subdued. Thats personally just how I like it, but an extra tone or contour control like the ones you find on Marshall amps would be a plus for some listeners. I’ve yet to experience any issues with static and I rate it five stars based on its tone and cool looks.

> 24 hour“Awesome” has become such a clichéd description nowadays that I make it a point to avoid using it. It is so overused that it has become meaningless. However, in the case of this speaker, I am going out of my way to describe it rightfully as awesome! We are using our Acton III in tandem with a Bluetooth turntable and the results are magnificent. Marshall has always been known for its superior speakers and this one features great sound, loud and clear, with the cleanest whispers to the most resounding booms. I’ve always placed Marshall just a notch below Bose when it comes to home music and sound but this speaker, at this price point, is the one to go with – impeccable audio and a value at under $300. Easy to set up, just plug it in and pair it with your device, and you’ll receive immediate sound superiority. The split sound is so wide that you’ll have to look twice to make sure you have just one speaker playing. Perfect for soft music lovers, pop fans, opera aficionados and hard core rock’n’rollers. Brilliantly black with gold plated switch and connections, it’s a beauty to behold. With the classic Marshall look and appeal and with state of the art Marshall sound, you can’t go wrong with the Acton III. Currently priced at $279.99 (at the time of this review) and with quick and safe Prime Delivery, this is an ultimate value that I can’t praise enough.

> 24 hourStatic sound both with blue tooth and direct connect. Marshall trouble shooting suggest move closer to turntable (defies purpose for bluetooth to put speaker where I like) also suggested turning the volume down! Led Zep on low volume... not for me.

> 24 hourFor something about the size of a standard tissue box, this puts out awesome sound. You have to download the Marshall Bluetooth app to find it, which I wasnt thrilled about...but it does give some extra features and the app was available for my android phone as well as the chromebook I use in the wood shop, so Ive been able to use the speaker with everything I needed to. Now the sound: Hands down the best bluetooth speaker Ive used. Great quality, bass to rival a much larger system and it cranks loud enough to hear it over a table saw and shop vac running at the same time.

> 24 hourThe quality is still good, but it feels better than the previous generation. Because acton II sounds quality better than the acton III. there is no cable in it,the price is also more expensive lol. I like the two different ways of linking. More convenient and easy to bring it with me.

> 24 hourI was a little hesitant to spend this much on a speaker but after seeing it in a hotel I knew I wanted one. The sound is very clear and level. I am a fan of bass so I love that I can increase the amount vs the treble. Connection is super quick and I love that is has a sleep mode if you don’t play anything after like 20-30 minutes. Definitely worth the money!

> 24 hourThis little speaker has some big sound. PROS: Sound Quality, bass&treble adjustment knobs, built in subwoofer, sleek vinatge look, auxiliary plug, Bluetooth, App works flawlessly, is LOUD as hell. Cons: None to date In summary for this price you cannot find a speaker like this. Though i cant speak on the lifespan this little guy really did blow me away.
