Melissa & Doug Construction Vehicles Wooden Chunky Puzzle (6 pcs)

My son has three of the Melissa and Doug chunky puzzles. He has this one, the one with the bugs, and the zoo animal puzzle. He loves all three. At first he just enjoyed taking the pieces out but now he has started to try to put the pieces back in. I love that these puzzles are brightly colored, durable, and attractive. I havent noticed the paint coming off of them if he puts them in his mouth and he hasnt been able to destroy them when teething either! Great puzzles!

Paint started chipping away not long after. Sturdy but not good long term quality.

Good toy, however, the only wood is the back board, the pieces themselves are MDF so if your child puts things in their mouth you may want to reconsider this toy. Resins and other things are used in making MDF.

My 2 yr old loves this puzzle, just wish they had incorporated some kind of learning with it, but it’s his favorite.

We love our new puzzle! Easy to hold and pick up off the board.

Perfect for toddlers; fits it their hands and easier to manipulate than peg puzzles. What I really loved about it was it’s multi purpose; great for pretend play (self-standing). My grandson loves it!

Bright wooden puzzles with chunky pieces that are sized perfectly for toddlers. Our little one LOVES this puzzle. The pieces are larger sized and thick, so he not only uses them with the puzzle, but likes to slide them around the house and pretend play on a construction site. Note that other reviewers are correct-- this toy is no longer painted with car. The individual construction vehicles are wooden pieces with stickers on them, not paint. This means they are bright and attractive, but MUCH less durable. If your kiddo likes to munch on toys, the paper stickers will wither and peel right off. This is a problem primarily for younger kids.

Bought this for my son for Christmas and love it! Its super sturdy and gives him some fine motor skill work and teaches him about construction vehicles. Perfect for my 4 year old. Love Melissa and Doug products. Theyre always well built and good value for what u pay.
