> 3 dayI cannot attest to the ability of this product to protect against all surges, however, we have had some pretty severe storms and the radio is still operational. Also important is that Ive experienced no noticable insertion loss which was a concern. Ill definitely add more when additional antennas go up. The little bit of added peace of mind goes a long way.

> 3 dayThis is a heavy-duty gas-discharge lightning/static arrestor. It is heavy and of solid contruction. I liked the good-sized ground strap Philips screw. This arrestor appears to be at least as herky as my Alpha-Delta ones. HIGHLY Recommended.

> 3 dayA little pricey but solidly built. Nice fit and finish. Hopefully it offer some protection to the radio gear. I still disconnect the antenna from the radio during storms as it is unlikely this would protect in the event of a direct lightning strike.

Greater than one weekIts perfect for hams to ground their antenna shield to help prevent damage to their radios. It safely discharges static electricity caused by the wind or nearby lightning strikes. If you get a direct hit by lightning there isnt anything made to protect your rig. I have one for each of my antennas.

Greater than one weekExcellent quality! My SWR actually dropped .5 when I added this with a suitable ground. Beware, many of the others have a 50 watt max! This is rated at 400 watts.
