Definitely a step up from stock. Make sure you align the gears properly, adjust e-steps and change the retraction settings. In other words, follow directions. Your prints will thank you.

After adjusting the e-steps on my flsun q5 it has worked perfect proving just how bad flsun copy of the titan extruder really is. After installing and adjusting ive had no skipping what so ever where before no matter what adjustment i did i constantly either had under extrusion or after adjusting for that had over extrusion causing most of my prints to either have holes in the structure or blobs forming on the outer surface. I almost wish they made their own 3d printer as flsun is useless for tech support!

Easy to install and lots of info on thier website to help tune an calibrate. Just make sre to use the short cable included because the position will mKe it feed backwards. The short cable reversed it and now it works flawlesly.

Metal shavings stuck to the side of the top opening, damage to both sides of the bottom one. Id send it back but I need it today. Loust QC and obviously zero inspection. I was able to clean it up with a micro-file, but for a $50 extruder to have such an abysmal level of quality control? The manufacturer should be embarrassed.

I really like this extruder. While the extruder included with the Ender 6 is all metal, it is not truly dual gear as advertised. The follower gear is more of a spline than a gear. The Micro-Swiss extruder is a true dual gear and has a very positive feed. Installation is very straight forward and it just works. Plus, Made In The USA, always a plus for me. This, added to the Micro-Swiss all metal hotend, has made my Ender 6 a dream to operate. Yes, this extruder is a bit more expensive e than others on Amazon but you won’t regret the extra expense.

Its more expensive than the alternatives, but the quality is worth it by far. Id buy this again, and the customer service is great so no worries there! Also, it does not have the extrusion issues that the cheaper ones have, no extrusion inconsistencies.

The original extruder had worn to the point where it refused to feed filament. This is a great drop in replacement of higher quality IMO. Worth the money!
