> 24 hourI have bought 2 of these MP22Z Z-Wave Outdoor Smart Plugs. I set up one of them and after it was added to Smartthings following the instructions the actual device page showed two question marks and a message which says “Couldnt get device status” see screen shots. I emailed the company and they were responsive. They were not very helpful, and after 6 emails over 2 hours I have given up and I am returning the two MP22Z Z-Wave Outdoor Smart Plugs. I do not recommend these for Smartthings use.

> 24 hourSo easy to set up a smart home features using the Zwave system. Everything is tied into our alarm app for access to every light and outlet from one app only. Best thing is, if alarm is tripped for any reason, all lights within the Zwave system will turn on for added security.

> 24 hourI was able to pair this plug to my SmartThings hub when placed in close proximity. However, once I placed it in my backyard there was no connectivity. I then added 2 z-wave smart plugs nearby to act as repeaters, and connection was very spotty. Id say on/off commands would register only 20% of the time. On/off status was incorrect most of the time too. I placed an Enlighten/GE outdoor z-wave plug in the same location, and have no issues. Im sending the Minoston back

> 24 hourThe unit integrates seamlessly with Home Assistant and Z-wave. Convenient monitoring of power consumption and line voltage right within Home Assistant. Mine performs perfectly inside the house, but due to having aluminum siding and metallic low-E windows, the signal from my Z-wave dongle doesnt reach the outside location very well. This is not a shortcoming of the unit; just be sure to have a good path thats not shielded for RF. It is a very capable switch as long as it gets a good signal from your Z-wave hub.

> 24 hourUsing it for some outdoor low voltage lighting. Working great. Setup was easy with Hubitat.

> 24 hourI bought this because it claimed to have a 15a output. After hooking this up to my window AC unit, it triggered some sort of internal surge protection any time the AC unit powered on. 2 stars because the rest of the functions (voltage monitoring, etc...) work as expected.

> 24 hourHad to move this unit closer to my hub. Once I did that it worked reliably.

> 24 hourThis originally did not install as two separate controllable outlets in SmartThings. I contacted the seller and promptly received a response with instructions to install an edge driver. I had follow-up questions and each time appreciated quick answers.
