Bought these to add a nice metallic touch of shimmer to a beetle bug drawing project for my art class - this paint was very thin and sheer and achieved more of a barely there effect.

Love these, using them to add zing to a flat painting, looks great when the light catches it.

Great value for the price. The metallic is true and very pretty! I like to mix the metallic with my non metallic paints for a slight subtle shine. I would buy these again!

I love this paint. It has a wonderful shimmer to it & makes all my work look classy! I love the tubes because the paint is thicker & i can choose the consistency. I typically like my paint a little thicker, but I can always thin it down if needed.

This Mont Marte metallic paint set is great. The paints are definitely metallic and very thick. There are tons of different, fun colors to try. I particularly like the blue tones. I used them to paint a bread box and used multiple colors mixed to give a bit of a metallic chalk paint look. These are great for tons of projects. Highly recommended!

I have been interested in metallic acrylic paints for candle painting. I normally use standard acrylic paints. I like the variety of colors of the Monte Marte 36 pc set and that each tube has 1 oz of color. It would be nice if Monte Marte would supply larger versions of the colors in metallic as well. Some of the colors are lighter than others and dry on the sheer side and not opaque. I need to layer up on some of the colors in order to get the look I desire. The paints are medium thick and distribute nicely. They have not flaked off or bubbled. They all dry with a metallic sheen. It adds a unique and appealing touch to the candles I paint. I would like it if the paints were a little darker and a touch thicker but overall I am happy with the quality.

My daughter, the jack of all trades artist, gives this paint a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The metallic paint applies and works very well, although she wished it had just a little more sheen to it. That aside, she likes working with these and shes a pretty harsh critic on multiple media!
