Every TIG welder needs these cups. Been welding 30 years. Why didnt I think of it.

Bought with fupa cups but not really necessary

I have other gas lenses from a couple different companies. While I dont have a significant preference in general, I do really like the offset collet (the lower collet in the photo) that these come with vs the old split collet style.

If youve never used a Fupa, youre not as good as a welder as you can be. Does that explain how good this product is? Makes a good welder more gooder welder. Ive heard people say to learn on a standard cup before going to a FUPA. I think thats maybe true, just so you can appreciate how much easier and clean your TIG welds can be. TIG welding is so involved, so many settings, so many materials, thickness, conditions, and the furick gas lens just helps so much in providing proper consistent gas coverage while allowing a fairly large tungsten stick out. I am not a pro, however I do have some experience. I do use a cheaper welder (Prime Weld) comes with a great torch (CK Worldwide) The Fupa now makes my garage TIG welder an absolute pleasure to work with!! It does everything I want, and really well too now with a quality looking... professional looking results

Gas lens looks quality made although the collet that came with mine appears to be a blank or something. Kind of disappointing when you are spending 30 dollars to get one with out a collect but I have extra.

I drop this off my 4 foot bench regularly. Has not broken yet
