Appears to be an excellent knife. I wanted a good quality, but affordable knife for backpacking, and a friend of mine suggested I look at Morakniv knives. After browsing through their assorted knives, I settled on this one. I have not had the opportunity to use the knife out in the mountains yet, but am very impressed with it so far. First off, I love the fact that you can get these knives in nice bright colors such as orange, green, or pink. This makes the knife that much easier to locate in my pack, and makes it that much harder to lose in the field. Second, I love the handle. It feels like a textured hard rubber, and holds it grip excellent when wet, which is a neccessity when out backpacking or fishing. Third, this thing came out of the box extremely sharp. I have ordered multiple knives off amazon (Shrades, Bucks, SOGs, etc), and this knife came sharpened better than any Ive bought. No need to put an edge on it before you can try it out. Last, the sheath is great. Its obviously not as aesthetically appealing as a nice leather sheath, but it is bright, durable, and holds the knife very securely. All in all, I am very impressed with this knife. I simply do not believe you could get a better quality backpacking/fishing/hunting/camping knife at this price, and cant imagine anyone regretting purchasing this knife. Definitely recommend!

This is a great saltwater knife for the price. I have the carbon version for fresh water (which is half the price).

Knife is very good—but sheath I’d flimsy and weak

What a knife! Its a great price for what you get; the sheath clipped firmly enough to my belt that I could unsheath the blade without accidentally detaching it. When you press the blade fully into the sheath it clicks into pkace so it doesnt rattle around or fall out. The orange color stood out well in the woods so I didnt have a problem locating it. Best of all, this knife arrived RAZOR SHARP. I went camping and sliced the knuckle off of my left thumb being an idiot. I saw the blood and the skin flap but I didnt feel a thing! Highly recommended!

Wish the handle was a little bigger.. sharp. Well update if dulls easily.. so far great for the price. Great for a boat or campsite knife.

This is a solid little knife. I was worried the sheath would not hold the knife well, but it does so very securely. And for the price? Its a steal.

This knife is a great for the price. The size and weight are great to make this a nice backpacking companion. The grip fits my fairly large hands nicely and it arrived pretty sharp. Cant complain much about what Mora does.
