Morakniv Companion Sandvik Stainless Steel Fixed-Blade Knife with Sheath, 4.1 Inch

I have bought several of these over the years. Great bang for the buck - comes razer sharp. I use them from the moose camp to the fishing boat (they dont float ;) ). Best utility blade out there for a pretty good price! Get two....

Nothing to say that hasnt already been said. To me the handle on the companion does feel better than the allaround, and the sheath is better.

I ordered two of these knives - one with a carbon blade and the other with a stainless blade. BOTH of the knives arrived so dull, they wouldnt even cut the tape on the box they came in. Is this a joke? They are supposed to be sharpened at the factory, right? Horribly disappointed.

Seriously impressive for the price. Its now my go-to for yard work.

Two third of the knife close to handle is not sharpened. I have other Mora knives. They all arrived sharpened. This one is likely a production error.

I have previously purchased the craft type Mora Knives for hard use like fishing in salt water. When I bought this one, I decided to step up a bit apnd spend 2 or 3 dollars more for the soft touch handle. Its worth it. But there is an added bonus I hadnt counted on. The sheath is MUCH MUCH better. Rather than a skinny little 1 belt loop, its got an open bottom clip. This is easy to clip onto your belt. Its also easy to clip onto the edge of a 5 gallon bucket that we use for a bait cutting station on my little fishing boat. In the end this $12 knife is well worth the $3 upgrade over the smaller craft type knife.

I dont have a lot to add that other people havent stated. Its just ridiculous you can buy a knife like this for the money.

The really like the Companion is just what expected from Morakniv and man it is sharp! That is what I like about Morakniv knives they are made well and are very sharp from the factory. The sheath I was disappointed in, it may be the color but it looks cheaper than my other Morakniv knives. I understand its plastic and the knife is not expensive cheaper plastic, its probably a color I dont like but the knife is great!

Just got this knife and I’m not convinced it’s new. I’m probably not going to have time to return it but I’m not happy my knife came with chips in it. I captured it as best I could, keep in mind they’re bigger than the pic shows. Either way, it’s not okay. I don’t recommend.
