11-06-2025I bought this for my Mom because she needed a new affordable phone. Seems to work really well but she has had it for a month and still cant figure out how it works. We dont have Lively/jitterbug phone options in area so I thought this phone would be a good fit. She struggles with technology. I think its a decent phone and takes nice pictures

13-06-2025I have wifi calling now and can discontinue my home phone service, I like that part... The phone has everything I need and many things that are beyond my user ability, that I am sure would be very usefull to the right person...

> 3 dayThis stupid phone wants the camera to be on - for it to stay on when you look at it. Dark screen all the time. Have to press the side button for it to come on--and its hard to come on. The scroll or swap feature does not work (with the finger). When making a call, after entering the number, the screen goes dark & can not turn on Speaker option. The volume is too low & can not increase it. Can not hear the other person talk. Only by speaker it works--which you cant turn on. Screen is dark. Its a terrible phone. belongs in the garbage. Can not return. Began using 2 mos after arrival (did not know this would happen). In general, do not like touch screen phones. Miss my hard keyboard phone--which worked like a dream. And was great for texting. This phone is terrible for texting. Finger is too big for tiny letters on the screen. Other letters get typed in (auto correction though--but still a pain). Hate It!

> 3 dayBought this phone for my mother to replace her cracked one. She only needs it for the basic phone functions along with mild browsing/email and watching videos - all of which run butter smooth. Will update review after a few weeks regarding call service and anything else. Storage wise you get 20/32 free GBs off the bat, and after the software updates you are left with 16 GB. This is a kind of non factor as you can pop a micro SD in... but seeing 47% used storage virtually out of the box before downloading any personal apps/media isnt very exciting. Some thing to note - the software is crammed with Google apps and it feels like it shoves google services down your throat almost like adware. It doesnt even have a default photo gallery app but just google photos. This isnt that relevant for my mom, but someone who values their privacy and wishes to avoid being on googles leash when possible, this is good to know.

> 3 dayGenerally a good phone, but not built to last much past the 1-year warranty. One of the volume buttons broke and got stuck, rendering the phone useless. Will not boot up because of the button. Motorola wants $150 to repair it. Ridiculous.

> 3 dayOver the past 6 months, Ive gone through various phones under $300 in search for the one I really enjoy using. My most recent long-term phone was a Pixel XL. The one before this one was a Cubot X19. And Ive had a Galaxy S7. This one, by far, is faster. Im experiencing no lag despite having 72 apps installed so far. The only complaint is the quality of the macro photos, but sometimes that can actually improve with a different camera app so Ill try that. The sound quality is great, screen is friendly on the eyes, the volume turns up high enough, the backlight can be dimmed pretty nicely for nighttime viewing, apps load quickly, and overall it feels high quality in your hands. I think Ill keep this one for a long time!

Greater than one weekI am not savvy with phones, but this phone was easy to setup, transfer data from my previous phone, and the battery life is great. I was surprised at the camera...it takes wonderful photos. It paired easily with my car for no hands driving. It has a lot more features that I don’t use, but other users may find helpful. I just wanted a basic phone that doesn’t die on me after a few calls/messages, and this phone Is perfect for that. I’ve had no problems with Verizon service, even in remote locations. It is thin and light...a bit long for fitting in your back pocket, so if you sit, you need to make sure it didn’t fall out. It is very fast with searches and returns data quickly. Overall, I would recommend this phone as a great value for the money.

> 3 dayPleasantly surprised by the overall utility of this phone. The compromises Moto made to deliver this price point are not very noticeable. The screen is nice and sharp, memory is sufficient for most apps and games, cameras are good, processor is speedy, no excessive bloatware taking up memory, etc. make the Moto G Fast a capable phone. The only real drawbacks are the mono speaker, and the position of the on/off switch(which naturally fits under one of my fingers), neither of which is a deal breaker. If youre looking for an affordable, all-around phone this is it! And it works perfectly with Mint mobile.

> 3 dayHad to find a good replacement phone for my mom and read the reviews for this one and so far its working out great. For an older adult that is not tech savvy at all this might be a bit harder for them to use. She is still trying to learn to use cell phones. I personally like the phone. It takes great photos and its easy to navigate and use. Its bigger than her last phone but not my much.
