> 24 hourI have worked with dowsing rods for years in locating graves in historic cemeteries. The rods only respond to a disturbance in the magnetic field of the soil, that was a result of digging/burial. It does not find bodies. When I get a positive reading that there is a grave, but no visible marker, we then probe with the rod and often find the buried headstone. In 19th century burying grounds we can also locate foot stones commonly used during that period. We can right the markers in their proper place and record the information that was otherwise lost. This is effective in a burying ground, because there is pattern of rows and grave placement that is predictable. Always test the rods accuracy, stepping on a known grave, where the rods should cross. Then step off a known grave and the rods should return to parallel. Then go to the area where you want to know if there is a burial in a certain spot. Always test before and after that spot for confirmation.

Those heirloom rods work for me, as they did fur my father and his father. These? So far not sure. But my heirloom dowsing rods probably won’t work for you so give these a try

Understanding the RodsHold the dowsing rods steady and straight in your hands, at an arm’s length from your body. Make sure the rod ends are not tipped upward or downward. You should also make sure the rods are 9 inches (22.9 cm) from each other. Then, relax and close your eyes. Visualize the object, element or question you are seeking in your mind. Take a few deep breaths to ensure you are relaxed. Focus your mind and try to channel that focus into the divining rods. The rods will move, showing us both the direction of the item or energy being sought. Follow any pulls or tugs on the rod, moving in a path.
