This rating refers only to the fact that the order arrived promptly and was exactly what I ordered. Obviously there is no way I can evaluate the health aspects of this vitamin as thoy would differ from one person to another. The reason I take it, along with B-1 and B-12, is that many years ago I had some neurological problems. Two doctors recommended taking B vitamins; I followed their recommendations, my symptoms disappeared, and have never recurred. I used to take the B-50 combo, but eventually I found it contained supplements that I dont want such as niacin. So I had to take the Bs separately. Our local pharmacies and supermarkets no long stock NatureMades B-6, so I obtained it through Amazon. (thanks Amazon). Why NatureMade? Because some of their vitamins are U.S.P., including B-6, which means that each pill contains exactly what NatureMade says it does, and is readily absorbed by the body. Unless a supplement is U.S.P., you cannot be sure that it will be really effective.

I use B 6 for inflammation in my hand due to tendinitis. Convinced it helps.
