> 24 hourMy son was so happy he bought this. It made his nerf rival gun way more powerful than with conventional batteries. He actually plays with his rival gun even more because of it and he seems much happier with his gun.

> 24 hourSo I spilled wax from those stupid wax warmers all over this thing. So minus 4 stars for being in the way. Didn’t really get to use it much. I’m guessing it did what it was supposed to do. Also they way over charge for this junk. If you’re gonna let your kids shoot tiny balls at each others eyes the. Do the right thing and get them air soft stuff. They’ll do it once and realize it hurts and probably stop but who knows. Kids are dumb. So are adults. We don’t deserve dogs. Ok I need sleep.

> 24 hourMight be a bit overpriced, but gives that necessary additional juice to blasters. Worth to be an option with every automatic rival nerf gun. Fixes several issues of alcaline batteries like weight, long startup time, strenght loss on consequent shots. Savel a lot of time and probably some amount of money in comparison with LiPo modding

> 24 hourmy boyfriend and i spent almost $400 dollars buying two of these guns with battery packs. we both work and i’m in college. when we finally got out to play Nerf wars at an event in our city. let’s say these were more than a disappointment. they shot slow. had terrible accuracy and jammed too many times to count. the button was temperamental and loud humming for at least one to two seconds to be able to shoot a ball at all. that’s when it decided to actually work. it was extremely heavy to run up and down two flights of stairs in an old hospital trying to not get shot. i was beyond disappointed. my boyfriend even resulted in using a pump action loaner off brand nerf style gun over this extreme waste of money and got better results. the icing on the cake due to having to really push this adventure into a crazy schedule we sat with these in the package for a bit. it was the very first and for sure the last time we use them. when we got onto amazon to try and return these once used nerf guns we were out of our return window

> 24 hourMuch better option than using batteries, which would cost a small fortune every time they need replacing

> 24 hourThis battery is NiMH, which is a slight disappointment considering LiPo and LiFe batteries are common these days. NiMH is still decent technology and if you take care of it should last quite a while. It is 7.2 volts and intended to replace the 6 D batteries in your Nerf blaster. NiMH cells are 1.2 volts per cell and Alkaline batteries are 1.5 volts per cell, so by using this instead of Ds youre actually losing 1.8 volts. They could have made a 7 cell NiMH battery which would have been 8.4 volts... but they didnt. Compared to the D batteries, I really didnt notice a difference in rate of fire, accuracy or distance. D batteries are ridiculously expensive and heavy, so this is an upgrade in every sense... less weight, less expense long term. No regrets on this purchase, but Im pulling one star for Nerf using old technology and not having the forethought to add another cell to more accurately replicate the voltage of the original battery configuration. Keep in mind, 4 stars is great... a 3 cell LiPo or some more modern setup would be fantastic. TLDR version: Get it!

> 24 hourIts alot lighter then the 6D batteries it replaced. The rate of fire is hard to gage because I dont want to buy new D cells to test it against. But it does appear to have a high rate of fire. Being rechargeable is a huge money saver. We do alot of Nerf wars.

> 24 hourI cannot vouch for the actual item quality until Christmas purchased for my son ,however I can inform you that the box came severely damaged to the point I had to open and check the battery pack for damage, there was no visible damage to the contents so fingers crossed that it doesnt disappoint on Christmas

> 24 hourThese battery powered nerf guns will drain your D batteries within a few days. This will save you money in the long run, lasts longer, and weighs less. Honestly, this is such a critical part that it should come standard with the nerf guns in the first place.
