NERF Rival Rechargeable Battery Pack

12-06-2025I had got this rechargeable battery pack for my son’s Nerf blaster. It a great performance boost that reduces weight, and increases rate of fire. However battery can die, if you don’t charge it for long periods of time. Overall good, but had to buy a replacement as the first battery died, even it was charged soon after.

> 3 dayI used it for my son right out of the box and it worked. So nice I don’t have to worry about those disposable batteries which will eventually kill our Earth. It will save a ton of money too. One charge lasts almost as long regular D batteries. Do yourself a favor and buy these. You won’t regret it. Don’t throw away instructions. Flashing light means it’s fully charged. The gun should be closed properly to work. I initially did not close it and thought that it’s because the batteries were useless. It was my mistake.

> 3 dayI compare regular battery to this charger and the rival ammo has a faster and harder impact Great buy.

> 3 dayBattery life is pretty good. I managed to use it off and on for a few weeks before it finally died. Highly recommend it will save you some money on batteries in the long run and maybe right from the start.

> 3 dayYou need two of these babies if you want to run around dual wielding 2 nemesis blasters like a boss. They make your setup at least more bearable by shaving down a few excess weight on your pencil thin arm muscles. And of course you will look like an idiot if you actually go on a dual nemesis rampage in Human Resources when everyone else are using Rival Apollo

> 3 dayThis should be a 5 star review, but the almost $50 price point is crazy for what you actually get. I bought one of these about 4 years ago for $15,a very reasonable price for NiMh rechargeable batteries that are only around 7.2 capacity. They drop in nicely to the blasters and are easy to recharge (little wall charger provided). FYI - For less than $50 you can buy the mod kit and go with 3s LiPo, then make your blaster scream with performance at around 11 capacity (way stronger than 7.2). Visit out of darts for mod kits and mod videos. Option 2 is to go with a nerf rival that comes with a charger, the Perses comes with over a 9 capacity LiPo battery and has very good performance. You can also buy a hopper and have over 150 balls in it. Over paying for a NiMh battery with low performance is crazy. The $15 I paid a couple years back is reasonable for this, not the $50.

> 3 dayI had done a bunch of research on the Automatic (battery operated) Nerf Rival guns. What surprised me was that most of the reviewers said to get this battery pack because of the longer life span compared to batteries (batteries would be expensive too) and that this pack would make the gun lighter. I needed to hunt for something that would make the guns lighter for two of my grandsons for Christmas & this battery pack did the trick. CAUTION: I had to charge the pack before wrapping because they dont come charged. I took almost 2 hours to charge.

> 3 dayI dont own a Khaos, but having used this pack in my Nemesis, I can definitively say that this was definitely a solid investment. As I said in my Nemesis review, the rechargeable battery pack both increases blaster performance without modding, and saves money one would normally be blowing on D batteries. Not to mention no worrying about safe disposal! Definitely a solid investment for an avid Nerf nerd.
