these lights are hard to fine. When I saw them on Amazon I was worried they were going to be what I needed but they were better than what came with it. Very bright. Perfect for outside string lights

Got these cause the theory is that insects have a harder time seeing warm led light over incandescent. Apparently its true because there are much fewer bugs. Also, these are just as bright and use 2W as opposed to 11W. Its a win win. They look cooler too!

I purchased these bulbs in March 2017, and since that time four bulbs have failed. Great looking bulb, but given the failure rate I cannot recommend. 9/21/2017 Update: These bulbs continue to fail; so far I have had to replace almost half the set. 12/8/2017 Update: These bulbs continue to fail; and at this point have replaced the entire set originally purchased.

Quality of bulbs are poor. I installed these at the beginning of summer and currently have 3 bulbs out, 2 are dim, and 3 have moisture inside the bulbs. We actually destroyed 3 of them just installing them on the string because when you tighten bulb, the silicone breaks lose from the base. Buyer beware, you pay for what you get.

2700k is a conventional light bulb (left side), but these new Newhouse (on the right) are not even close. Don’t buy it if you want to make your place cozy.

Color matches existing incandescent bulbs. Slightly brighter at less wattage
