When the PS5 was first announced I immediately knew that the white wasnt going to be for me. Fortunately, Sony knew that it wasnt for everyone and made the plates easy to change. However, Sonys official midnight black plates are sold out! Which is ridiculous. I get the chip shortage but whats the excuse for the plates? Plastic shortage? Why not sell them in stores? Gimme a break. Anyways, finding it elsewhere is a rip off. These plates are perfectly fine and match the black controller. They are sturdy and easy to put on. The only thing youre gonna miss out on is the PS logo and the SONY logo. Other than that, its great. Not paying $150 extra for some logos.

Bought this one when the one I previously purchased of another brand arrived damaged. This came with the option to get a warranty, arrived well packaged and a install video can be found on YouTube to help with setup.

Wanted to add some color and pizzazz to my PS5 and controllers. Installation was a snap and pretty straight forward. Word of caution. When removing and installing the controller faceplates you have to take your time. The original and replacement faceplates are delicate. You must follow the directions. Be gentle and use the enclosed guitar pick shaped pry tool to remove the faceplate from the controller. Keep your box to store & protect the original plates & controller covers if you decide to go back to the original PS5 look. You wouldnt be disappointed. Im very satisfied with my purchase.
