Greater than one weekThis is the one to get if you have a PS5. A full 2TB after formatting nearly triples the console storage. Installation involves two Phillips head screws and takes less than five minutes. Plus, its cheaper than much of the competition and faster than other drives in its price range.

Greater than one weekPopped the plastic panels off the PS5, opened up the NVMe expansion slot, installed the Nextorage drive in about 5 minutes. Drive was recognized immediately after powering up my PS5...reported read speed of 6550mb/sec, plenty fast for PS5 titles to be installed directly on this drive. Heat sink was already installed on the drive...theres literally nothing you have to do other than drop this drive right into your PS5. Having the extra 1TB of storage will allow for more than double the number of games that the internal drive could store. Definitely recommend for expansion of the PS5 storage.
