Greater than one weekThese socks are comfortable, warm, and good looking. The 80% wool keeps my feet warm even when wet. I like the simple design around the top. It is suggested that they should be washed in cold water and hanged to dry. I forgot and put them in the dryer, and they did not shrink. Its probably best to dry on a low setting if dried in the dryer however, since repeated use of the dryer may eventually shrink them. They have plenty of stretch, so they fit snuggly, but the ankle portion does slide back and is rather short, but in colder weather long underwear will give extra leg coverage.

They came out just fine in my dryer - and I dry things until they are saltine cracker dry - they didnt shrink at all. Super warm, cozy and soft. Not itchy at all. I bought another set because I love them so much.

The socks are really nice and thick without feeling too bulky and they arent too tight around the top of the calf. The colors are very nice. I gave my daughter two pair and saved two for myself. I will definitely be buying more for this winter.
