Overall, I am pleased with these socks. They are quite pretty and easy to match with a variety of colors of pants. They are fairly warm, yet perhaps not as toasty as another brand I purchased elsewhere. They also do not feel bulky, so, its simple enough to slide your feet into shoes or boots. What I do not particularly like is how short these socks rise over the ankle--they did indicate in their ad that they are on the short side, so no misrepresentation was made. Nevertheless, I do wish the manufacturer would consider making the same socks, but have them come up a bit more--perhaps 2 inches or so--toward the calf, at least so that when you cross your legs, your skin is not exposed to the cold air.

These socks are comfortable, warm, and good looking. The 80% wool keeps my feet warm even when wet. I like the simple design around the top. It is suggested that they should be washed in cold water and hanged to dry. I forgot and put them in the dryer, and they did not shrink. Its probably best to dry on a low setting if dried in the dryer however, since repeated use of the dryer may eventually shrink them. They have plenty of stretch, so they fit snuggly, but the ankle portion does slide back and is rather short, but in colder weather long underwear will give extra leg coverage.

Thick, soft, impressive!

I have purchased wool socks from Cabelas, or North 40, and they are usually not warm enough and they are too tight on my legs. I’d have big indentations where the socks cut into my legs. These socks are much softer, much warmer, and waaayyy more comfortable. I love them.

There are the best sox I have ever had on my feet. They are soft but unlike most soft sox they are firm as well and keep your foot from moving around . Received them for Christmas a month ago and already ordered another box. Also bought for friends for gifts. These are a must have. Would give 6 stars if I could

I bought Kirkland merino wool socks for a few years. They used to be excellent! Soft, thick, durable, best value. The quality of Kirkland has declined significantly over the last few years and last bunch I bought literally were threadbare after just a few months of wear. I spent quite a while researching for replacement brand and I finally decided to try these. I only ordered 1 box (4 pairs) as they are less expensive than many others but still a bit pricey. They are definitely my new sock of choice!! I ordered 2 more boxes ( 8 pairs). They are very soft, durable and not itchy! ( I have extremely sensitive skin so this is very important!! The percentage of Merino wool is substantially higher than most of the other brands available on Amazon without breaking the bank. I also just wash them normally in warm water and toss them in the dryer at the same heat as my jeans, sweatshirts, etc...and have had zero shrinkage or pulling. These are the best merino wool socks available for a reasonable price. I will definitely order more as necessary.
