> 3 dayI’ve owned these screens for about 2 years now, and I must say - they are absolutely hands down the best purchase for my gaming setup I have ever made. I am running a fairly high end system, a 3080 and equally powerful components. Most people will say that a 3080 is too powerful for 1080p, but I say that it removes the need to upgrade in the future. That being said, here are my pro’s and con’s after several years of ownership: Pros: -Great size for a 1080p. Fits perfectly on my desk (utilizing a VESA mount) -Tiny bevel on edges, making a multiple display setup perfect -144hz speaks for itself, incredibly smooth -Lots of options for color tweaking -Low ms delay, great for FPS gaming -Subtle but great curve, not too hard on your eyes -Sturdy design, no flimsy backing or bendy screen Cons: -Freesync really only works well on games that support 144hz, anything lower and it usually causes screen tear and artifacts -The white backlight can bleed through causing some black settings to look more Grey -The provided stands offer only a little range of motion, highly suggest getting a VESA compatible mount -The menu button can sometimes be a pain and not work correctly All in all I highly recommend these displays for the price. I actually ended up breaking one during a move and loved them so much that I bought a replacement.

12-06-2025it’s a great monitor. No issues with the monitor at all. Everything works well. Be careful pulling off the plastic tape around the edges. With shipping, it was the worst experience ever and a huge headache to deal with. Purchased during cyber monday and package with monitor was never received. With the help of many good amazon representatives, I was able to reorder the monitor and finally got it after a long time waiting. Definitely worth the wait. Perfect for an average gamer.

> 3 dayThis product is amazing at 2K gaming 165 Hertz this product is everything you need if youre an intense gamer and would like to upgrade your setup however if you are like me and receive a damaged product good luck getting your money back or getting an RMA for the item I contacted this company on the 3rd of December and they told me that it would take 7 to 10 days to get an RMA for the item and that we would be waiting on Acer to approve the item I sent product pictures of the damaged item to the company and then proceeded to wait until today when they finally said the RMA would be able to be sent out well I took it upon myself to go through the actual manufacturer Acer and contacted them I was able to create a case and get an RMA label within two days thanks to Acer and also Acer was kind enough to have a prepaid shipping label so that way I could get this item sent back to the manufacturer without costing me more money that I have already spent on the product fun fact if you go through the company who sells this Alliance Supply they will make you pay for your item to be shipped back so not only do you have to pay for the item and shipping one time youll have to pay for shipping two times if its damaged and youll also have to wait 7 to 10 days for this to be complete and they will blame it on the manufacturer when this is not the case because I was able to get a case done and submitted within 24 hours and have the RMA label ready to go the next day thanks for nothing Alliance Supply you are not helpful at all.

Greater than one weekThis had specs that are optimal for what was very affordable when I purchased it. It was under 200 dollars and it is a larger curved screen with 165hz refresh rate at 1 millisecond. There was nothing else at this price and quality. Congratulations.

> 3 dayI had been shopping and comparing features and qualities for a gaming monitor for about 6 months – I wanted: 27” to 32”, curved, 4K and hi-refresh rate – there are a few to compare and size up at those specs – once I understood the panel types (IPS, VA and TN), free-sync and all that, I knew what to look for and at what price – The monitors amazon carried, that I liked, are: a couple of MSI models, Acer, Sceptre, BenQ just to name a few – since this is my first BIG, late model gaming monitor, refresh rate was important – also quality and resolution – then price – here’s what I found: a lot of comparable features from known brands – and varied pricing – I decided not to go with 4K since refresh was nominal 60 hz and any faster was way expensive – so, I decided to go with 2K and 144 hz – once I carefully considered my space and proximity, 27” would be excellent (it’s actually huge) – so with that, I narrowed the field to Acer, Sceptre and MSI (specs and price) - Having read the reviews, all 3 were rated 4 stars by hundreds of buyers - The MSI models were not sold thru amazon prime and would take over a week to arrive, and they’re kinda pricy (rgb and other fancies) – the Sceptre was over $70 more than the Acer, with all the same specs – so, I chose the Acer ED273 – the most recent reviews said the Acer was a very good choice and I agreed that this has the best features and value – I was right! This is a great monitor, it was ready to play right out of the box and, overall, it has exceeded my expectations – Here’s a few things of interest: build quality, excellent - overall aesthetics: thin bezel, slim design (no big bulges), nice finish, flat matt screen, just right curve, excellent picture quality – the stand is heavy with a metal base and reinforced vertical post and mount (vesa 100) – My only gripe would be the separate power brick – but for the price, I’m OK with it – the port sockets are located center-back facing down – this makes it difficult to find and insert the video and power connectors – you’ll also get an HDMI and DP cable each – tried as I might, I couldn’t find any info on cable length (my desktop setup requires a longer cable, at least 6’), so instead of ordering a longer cable, I’d wait and see if the shipped cables would work – they didn’t – they are about 4’ long – a little short for me – so I used a 6’ HDMI cable I had laying around until I received an ordered 6’ DP cable from prime (about $10) – on HDMI the refresh is capped at 120 hz – with the DP cable I’m now using, refresh is the full 144 hz – So, overall, I’m very happy with the Acer ED273 – quality, features and price combine to make this an excellent buy – it comes packaged double boxed and incapsulated in foam, plastic film and protective cloth - 5 stars!

Greater than one weekPros: - High resolution with HDR support - Colors are nice - 2 DisplayPort inputs - 3 year warranty Cons: - Floppy stand. If your desk moves at all the monitor will wiggle a lot. - Doesnt do that great in the UFO ghosting test - TERRIBLE auto-source functionality. Literally the worst Ive seen on any monitor. Its so slow it freaks out one of my devices. Turn off the auto-source and switch it manually (push down on the control switch to bring up the controls). - HDR support is there but not that great. - Max Brightness is VERY bright and turning on HDR forces max brightness - Speakers are there - cant control volume via your OS over DP but can over HDMI. The monitor does have a volume control, though. I wouldnt recommend them for anything but voice calls though. This is a huge upgrade from a 1080p 60hz screen. If you try a better 1440p screen youll be disappointed in this one, though.

> 3 dayI’ve had the monitor for only a day now, but I love it. The picture quality is great, the display is buttery smooth, and set up was easy. I have 2 complaints, but I would still recommend this monitor at this price point (25% off, at $210). First complaint is brightness. It doesn’t get very bright, and it’s very noticeable with a second monitor next to it. This isn’t a huge deal for me, but it’s something worth considering. Second complaint is G-Sync. The description for this product says it’s “G-Sync Compatible”. This monitor does not have G-Sync. It has AMD’s Free Sync. If you have a 10 series or higher graphics card from Nvidia, there’s no problem. But if you have a 900 series or lower, you won’t be able to use G-Sync. I thought this was a bit of false advertising, as Free Sync isn’t mentioned anywhere. With that being said, I haven’t seen any screen tearing, so I can’t complain about performance. I am using a GTX 960 graphics card. If you have a 10 series or higher graphics card, I recommend this monitor 100%. If you don’t, look elsewhere before deciding on this one. This really isn’t a bad option at all though
