> 24 hourGood product but they constantly hustle you with notifications, popups, and scare tactics to get you to buy more features. Very, very annoying.

> 24 hourGentlemen, beware with this one I order one because my antivirus was about to spire Norton renew mine. I send this one back and they charge me the full amount for re-stack. They only sent me two dollars I had to call Amazon to get my full refund.

> 24 hourIve been a Norton user for a long time, going back to Norton Utilities in the 1990s. Their product is excellent, but the new automatic renewal program is a scam. Two months before the renewal date I went into my Norton Account to turn off the automatic renewal, which I did. Two days later I went back to my Norton Account to verify that automatic renewal had been turned off. It was not. I turned it off again. On recheck it still was not turned off. I let it go, knowing that the credit card on file had been replaced with a new card and number. Sure enough, a month before the renewal date Symantec had tried and failed to charge my account. Every day since then I have received emails and pop-ups imploring me to update the credit card info so they could process the automatic renewal. Fat chance. My renewal date comes up in two weeks, and I fully expect to receive a fantastic renewal offer. Too late. I just now placed an order on Amazon for Bitdefender Total Defender which I will install as Norton expires. A very long relationship is about to end. Goodbye Norton by Symantec.

> 24 hourNorton is horrible now. I used them for years previously. I spent an hour trying to cancel the auto renewal, at 4 times the price of the original purchase. Turns out you have to set up a chat and then they wasted about 30 minutes trying to talk me out of cancelling the auto renewal and also kept badgering me to not cancel the whole subscription. Thats an hour and a half of my life tonight that I cant get back. I will NEVER do business with Norton again. The marketing people have ruined their product. Better options out there.

> 24 hourI spent 5 hours today trying to figure out why my laptop could not send emails on Thunderbird anymore. Turns out it was because of Norton 360s VPN, which was turned on. The error message on Thunderbird just said that my outgoing server had timed out, even though it was only a split second since I had hit send. Anyway, lots of time spent looking at my email account settings, talking with my internet provider, searching online for an answer. Norton 360 does give you the option of keeping the VPN turned on but removing certain apps from its coverage. This did not work for me and Thunderbird. I had to turn the VPN completely off. Other than that, Norton seems to be doing its job (Ive used it for several years), but its reminders and suggestions are more frequent and annoying than in years past. My husband prefers BitDefender, but I dont care for that.

> 24 hourWhat I like about Norton is it seems to do a reasonable job of protecting my PC/Info. Of course if someone has risky internet behavior, not sure much of anything will protect you. The worst thing about Norton is the Auto-renewal trap, $100 renewal fee. Its the main reason I dont want Norton to have my credit card info, I dont trust Norton with Credit card billing, they have shown they cant be trusted. First thing is to cancel auto renewal, stay current with Norton Billing, then hope for the best. I paid $9.99 for this subscription, not Nortons $100.
