Greater than one weekSuper sharp, easy to open/close, stable, strong. This is by far the best box cutter/opener Ive used. Used it daily for months with no degradation (move out, move in). Added bonus I didnt realize I needed - it is small enough to finesse a fine cut (like a piece of tape) or a big cut (like opening well-taped heavy boxes/padding) Essential tool for moving, and any-day use.

As a graphic artist or doing some artwork this is a tool that you should always have, it comes very handy and very stable, doesnt wabble, safe for use. I lost my old one which is exactly the same model and I am getting the same one because I loved using it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something to use as an art utility knife. Plus the price was a good deal for me and the shipping was fast, got it on time.

> 3 dayThese are really sleek and minimal, they do their job with no issues and I have bought several to keep around the workplace/home. I will mention that I have received two different designs. The first few had mechanism that locked the blade unless you were actively sliding the blade in or out, the newer ones just rely on a passive spring. I wont say its an issue, because you shouldnt be stabbing with a thin razor, but its worth pointing out. Either way the product works fine and the spring has enough force to hold the blade where you put it.
