> 3 dayI do a lot of hand trimming & this is the best I’ve owned. I purchased this 2nd one for my auxiliary work table. I bought some other plastic cased olfa blade & it’s just not strong enough to apply the pressure one needs to exert to make a clean trim.

> 3 dayMy husband and I have these all over the house: nowadays you cant access any purchase without tools to open the package (I swear there should be a special place in purgatory for the folks who dream up some of those molded capsules!). Handy, light but strong - much better than the really cheap ones sold in bins at the Home Depot or dollar store.

I still have my old one, but I couldnt remember where I had it and I needed this to work on a DIY miniature house kit, so I purchased this one. Way work the money as the blade locks in place and is so easy to use and replacing the blade is a snap!

I need a locking knife, not one that will allow the blade to slip back into the handle with the slightest push. This is not a Slide-Lock. Beyond that obvious problem, the knife will work if all one needs is a downward cut. A very nice stainless channel (better than any others Ive seen) and a stainless blade. Thus, a three star rating...

> 3 dayI am only giving 5 stars because I have used olfa products for over 30 years. But I am not satisfied with what I received! When I ordered this knife it said pro9 on picture, I received a similar knife, but packaging is basic! Not sure if this is a fake!

> 3 dayI love pruducts that are at once totally utilitarian and free of decoration as well as beautifully designed. This is a sublimely functional product that is a delight to use. Why all the superlatives? Because such well-designed and engineered products are rare—especially at a $9 price point. The stainless steel chassis has a gorgeous finish and feels light and elegant, but also totally solid. The butt cap which you can use to snap off used sections of blade works wonderfully and fits perfectly with no wiggle or play, and the blade mechanism is tactile and satisfying to use. I use it with the BBK05 refill blades, whose black surface finish contrasts terrificly with the brushed stainless steel. I am so very happy with this Olfa blade. Along with my other Olfa tools (especially the rotary cutters!), this blade is a joy to use. You’re going to be very pleased with this knife!
