Perfect and comfortable for backpacking, can fit loads of stuff. In terms of flying to a destination, the frame is a little large, and does not fit in most overhead compartments in a plane. However, I would not trust this bag in a checked hold, as it has lots of straps that could get caught on something and broken by airport staff.

Bought as a gift. They said it worked great. The style kept their back from getting all sweaty. K.Kotz

Build feels really good, pockets all seem useful in size and placement. But the highlight of this pack is the comfort. its mesh back is ridiculously breathable, and the straps distribute the weight perfectly. The only complaint I can think of is that the rain fly is sold separately (and I new that when I bought it.)

Cmon guys, weve all seen it. The yoga pants girl on the trail swinging her arms back and forth only carrying a water bottle talking about how warm it is....then the sweaty guy wheezing behind her trying to keep up as hes weighed down with all the gear in the backpack...which is 80% her stuff that probably wont even be used the entire time you are hiking...Thats me, Im the sweaty guy. So youd better believe Im going to spend whatever I have to on a pack that makes my pack mule job bearable. This may be overkill for a normal day hiker that only puts on about 10-20 miles a hike. My last backpack was made for going to school rather than hiking. It sat flat against my back so no air could get in there which made for a pretty gross situation. Every time we took a break and I took it off I dreaded the soggy wet thing getting placed back on me. This pack is much better in that way. It has a nice breathable mesh in the back that allows a pretty decent air flow. My biggest worry now is that with the extra room in this pack my wife might find more useless crap for me to haul around....

It might weigh a little more than the lightest packs but the comfort outweighs the weight.

This is an extremely customizable bag. You can really get it to sit exactly how you want it to on your body. Well constructed. Definitely one of the best bags Ive seen in this price range.

I dont understand why theres so many good reviews. This backpack is an overpriced stuff sack. I was highly disappointed. If you need to access something you loaded into the main compartment first, you basically have to unpack everything. This quickly becomes an ordeal. Also, the main compartment feels so slim. I was surprised that with the 65liter model. Everyone like it because of the aintigravity stuff, but this is little importance compared to the overall design. The gregory baltoro on the other hand is much nicer and fixes these flaws
