> 24 hourI like the way it’s for outdoors and it’s easier to link it with My Home Apple’s app but I got tired trying to link it to Alexa. In my case I had to change my wifi password and that messed it up

> 24 hourWe use this outside to connect all the lights, it was nice to only have to push the button to turn off but disappointed that it wouldn’t connect to our iPhones so we wouldn’t have to go outside to turn off lights

> 24 hourThis thing, just like three outlet version which I returned, is garbage. I love Meross indoor smart plugs (especially because they work both with HomeKit and Alexa) but these outdoor plugs are terrible. I ordered this one as a replacement for the Meross 3 plug version, because the advertisement did not indicate it was made by Meross. It worked for 3 days and then, when I was out of town and really needed it to control outdoor lights, it lost its connection even though it is 30 feet from a very powerful Asus mesh node. Do not buy! Next year I will try the KASA.

> 24 hourThe instructions say to use the eHomeLife app for iOS to work with Google Assistant. But the eHomeLife app only works with Alexa. You need to use the Meross app to work with Google Assistant. Here is how I got it working with Google Assistant and my Google Nest Hub... Note that the Meross app connects the plug to the Apple Home app but then asks you if you want to link it to Google Assistant. After linking Google Assistant with Meross, run the Google Home app and tell it to look for new devices. Do this... Tap on the Settings Icon Tap on Add device Tap on Works with Google Tap on Meross Tap on Check for new devices Then set a routine... Go to routines and tap the + icon Tap Household Edit the name Tap on Add Starter, When I say to Google Assistant (whatever you want) Tap on Add Action, Adjust Home Devices, Outtlets Look for your outlet in the list.

> 24 hourI’ve added many home kit devices to my home. As soon as I added this my entire home automation devices became non responsive. Tried multiple times to contact customer support. There’s only an email and they take days to response and just say talk to the customer service for the other items. Your item isn’t working either!!! Stay away!!!

> 24 hourIf you have many Apple products like I do and are using HomeKit, this outdoor smart plug is a great product and I highly recommend it. It was very easy to set up. Each outlet can be addressed individually. I am currently using one of the outlets to turn on a bug light at night and turn it off during the day. Im using the other outlet to control some decorative lights that I have on the back porch. But during the holidays this plug would be a great way to control your outdoor Christmas lights. Its nice to see that more companies are beginning to support HomeKit. I hope someday that all of my lights and switches can be controlled this way.

> 24 hourI’ve been using this for my Christmas lights, and the user experience has been very pleasant. Easy instillation, and the HomeKit integration was seemless.

> 24 hourIve a series of landscape lights whose controller Ive never bothered to figure out, by turning them to on and plugging the controller into this HomeKit plug, Im able to get them to work via simple automation from my phone or turn them on via Siri. Hey Siri turn on on the landscape lights. And when Christmas time rolls around I can plug the Christmas lights into the other power receptacle. Paired quickly via my phone and assigned it to an automation to turn on the 1st receptacle at sunset and turn off a couple hours later. Antenna is pretty good as it is located maybe 30 feet from the nearest HomeKit Hub, the AppleTV in the master bedroom, and seems to work reliably (time will tell).

> 24 hourWorks perfectly, even though the company name is different, it’s Meross. Ordered two. One connected perfectly right away. The other one shipped with a bad HomeKit QR code/wrong 8 digit code (actually had 10 digits and letters….) while this was frustrating, I’m rating at 5 stars due to the customer service. They were able to get me a proper QR code after reaching out to them. Each individual outlet can be controlled which is great as well. Using to lower Christmas lights on house/in yard.
