This is fantastic. It folds up small enough to just leave in the car or toss in the bottom of a stroller, but it’s also a perfect sized little seat for potty training little people when you’re out of the house but not near a regular toilet.

If you travel or even go out of the house often, get this! If you are like me and cringe at your little one touching a public toilet trying to hold themselves up, get this! I used to lug my daughters house potty around in the car when going anywhere because I hated thinking about putting her little self on the nasty public toilet. I researched and found this gem! I’ve had zero issues with this particular brand. It’s super convenient to throw in her backpack and take anywhere! It folds flat in its own bag for sanitary. Comes in handy if you get stuck in traffic and your little one can’t hold it. You can use it on its own as a little potty or unfold it flat to use on top of a regular toilet. Order the refill bags because it only comes with a few. Best purchase ever

This seat is amazing, so useful, very sturdy. I read a few reviews when looking to purchase that said it was wobbly on the toilet bit I found that when using forward on the toilet seat instead of toward the back of the seat like the instructions say to the seat will teeter forward. A con would be that this seat would be difficult to unfold one handed but possible if you have a minute since you have to hold the grey buttons on the bottom to completely unfold or close the oxo seat however that is what make the seat so secure and sturdy and well as safe. And if youre concerned about the back of your little ones legs touching the toilet seat especially in a public place is would recommend getting sa fabric or disposable seat cover to place under the oxo seat since it does not cover the whole seat and must be placed further back on the toilet. Compare to the kalencom seat this one seems much more comfortable and contoured. My 18lb 6 month old sits perfectly on this seat for ECers who are wondering if this seat would be small enough. Something to consider is that the splash guard is a little short for boys, it could easily be a messy situation if not sitting or aimed properly . However for me, the cons far outweigh the pros and the convenience and ease of this product it s a multi functional travel potty that would sit any baby able to sit themselves what more could I ask for that your can take anywhere? Love love love

I am comparing the potette plus and the oxo. The potette plus is on the left and oxo on the right. The oxo is slightly larger and slightly taller, but really not that noticeable. The potette plus definitely has a better pee guard for boys and you can see in the pics the bottom of it extends into the toilet to prevent pee from coming through the gap. You can see in the pics the oxo has a pretty big gap in front and doesn’t have anything the extends down into the toilet. When I had my son test it out, pee came right out the gap and went everywhere, as I expected would happen. No leaking with the potette. The oxo wins when it comes to ease and speed of setting it up. It just snaps right into place and you push a button to lay it flat or close it. The potette is a little more finicky getting it to stand up. I wish it had the button like the oxo. If I had a girl, I would hands down pick the Oxo over the potette. Or if you only plan to use liners and have no intention of using this on a toilet then go with the Oxo. I have a boy though and plan to use this in public restrooms, I will be keeping the potette because the pee guard is just so much better. Hope this helps anyone debating between the two.

When I tell you this is the most convenient, amazing idea! I keep it in my trunk and my 1yr old uses it EVERYWHERE we go! I bought the bags that go with it that has the absorbent pads in it. It is low so it taller kids may not like it much. But I like it way better than her using a public toilet. I sit it in my trunk for her to use it, or on the front seat floor most of the time. Many bathroom floors are nasty so I’d rather her use it in my car than on a public bathroom floor.

Never before children did I think I’d have a potty in my car, alas, here I am, and I’m reviewing it. This is the travel potty you never knew you needed, until you are potty training and are afraid to let your child ride in the car without a pull-up on. Alas, you have arrive at this product and possibly this review. You don’t think you need this until you are leaving your daycare facility, and get on the highway (which is about a 35 minute ride from home, and the next potty stop is a good 25 mins away) and you ensured your very adorable tiny tot has relieved themselves before hitting road, to only just pass through the toll booth and hear “I NEED TO GO POTTY!!!” To which you reply: “you just went at daycare can you hold it?” And tiny tot says: “NO ITS ALMOST COMING OUT!!” If this sounds like you, than this little port-a-pot for tots is just up your alley. It’s a stand alone little pot, so if you’re outside somewhere discrete you can let them pee on the ground, OR if you can’t do that, then they have amazing little absorbent bags that attach to this little pot to catch it all and tie it up (please take it home and discard of it properly, we’re all humans here, or so I hope). But wait!!!! there’s more!!! It’s convent to use in the trunk, or on the back seat for added privacy for your tiny tot, and even folds out to be a tot spot on a regular big pot. If you’ve gotten this far, for real it has been a life saver for my 3 year old in the long car rides to and from daycare daily, and when visiting friends. Happy Potty training families!

My 3 yr old is shorter than most of her peers and isn’t able to climb onto a regular toilet without a boost. This potty is nice and low to the ground for her to manage on her own and is PERFECT for road trips and running errands. When we travel, it’s so easy to put a plastic grocery bag over the potty and have her go right in the privacy of the back of our car rather than using a nasty public restroom toilet. I recommend this for EVERY toddler or preschooler who’s semi-newly potty trained.

This has been one of the best purchases we have made recently. Our daughter is 3 and is fully potty trained, but a bit fearful of public toilets because they are loud and smelly. Forget the latrines or port a potties at state and local parks that are full of flies. On top of that, with the COVID lockdown a lot of bathrooms were closed for a long time. After about the third time having to hold her up over the grass so she could poop outside in an emergency while away from home (we took a lot of walks in nature preserves while on lock down for our sanity) we looked for an emergency potty option for the car and found this. Such a game changer!!!! She has used it several times and it is wonderful. We use the bags it comes with so the pad inside can absorb any urine. She likes to use it and I don’t have to battle with her over smelly loud public toilets or stinky latrines when out on adventures. It will work well for taking her camping, too. We just keep it in the car and pull it out if needed. I love this product.

It is really small but well it’s for toddlers. My 3 year old was comfortably able to use it outside of the house. I just had to open my car trunk and made her sit there. So far used any strong trash cover with a think absorbent kitchen towel in it. I use it everyday on top of potty seat at home. It stays in place unlike some other standard seat( I purchased munchkins one which is useless). make sure to this on top towards the back side else you will have to clean floor or your potty eat each time.

Be prepared for on-the-go potty emergencies with the OXO Tot 2-in-1 Go Potty. The Potty opens quickly and easily and works alone (with disposable bags), or as a seat that rests on top of toilets. The legs lock at the ideal height for growing tots, and soft, flexible flaps hold disposable bags securely in place. Three disposable bags with absorbent pads are included, and refills are available, plus the Potty can accommodate standard plastic bags in a pinch. The legs fold all the way out and non-slip grips keep the Potty stable on round or elongated public toilets. The small seat is sized for little bottoms and the generous shield prevents splatter. The smooth surfaces are easy to clean and the legs fold in, allowing the Potty to fit into the included travel bag for storage in cars, strollers or diaper bags.
