The steel is soft when it arrives which makes it easy to drill, cut, and grind. I found it to be easy to harden and temper. The knife I made came out to around 57hrc and holds a razor edge. Have already order more!

Sold by Patriot Steel, supposedly fulfilled by Amazon. I dont know what happened, but I only received one(1) bar, when the description indicated a 4pack. Im very disappointed in that regard. As far as the steel, it seems to be of good quality 1095, which is what I need for my project. I contacted Amazon about the issue and I was told that they will be sending replacements. Ill have to wait and see, but as for now, Im only giving it a 3 star.

Product is ok. Edge are beveled as if the were press cut. Not precision ground. For price and shipping overall good product

This steel met all my expectations. I blanked out this Nessmuk knife pattern earlier today. It was a pleasure working with this steel. It throws sparks just like high carbon steel should! Bought because it was made in the US. I’m going to make a set of knives for my brothers and dad for Christmas. Will definitely be ordering more.
