this is the`14th Philips hue bulb we have ordered, I love the looks , colors and the easy control with Alexa.

Works nice with alexa

Great idea and fun when they work. However, these lights will often turn on randomly. My research shows this is a known issue with the Generation 3 light bulbs. Ive contacted Philips twice and havent head back from them.

Easy to use

very awesome just keep in mind you need a hue bridge to run the light otherwise you cannot benefit from dimming or colors

These lights work as expected and are a wonderful addition to our home. The ability to have control over the color temperature, as well as the ability to completely change their colors, is fantastic.

These bulbs are very fun and I enjoy the many features that they have. The flashing red when my alarm goes off is nice so I dont burn my mini pizzas again. The Alexa integration could use some work as sometimes they are not responsive but they work perfectly with my home app and widget on my iPhone. They are also very nice for entertaining and will capture your guests as they look at colors representing an orange and purple sunset or an aurora borealis. Highly recommend even if they are a little pricey, need a bridge, and WiFi. Once you get over that hump they are worth it in my opinion

I bought the Philips Hue Starter kit just as a toy to play around with. Wow! I love those lights. Then, I figured, what the heck, Ill try the color light. Programmable, dimmable, color LED lights... how freaking cool is that!!?? Maybe not quite flying cars, programmable love robots, and the Pur & Kleen Water Company yet, but darned close. I put two in my living room and programmed a couple of different color scenes with the Philips Hue app. The color variations are awesome and really change the feel of a room whether you are having a conversation, reading, watching TV, or whatever. And, the app has the ability to upload a photo and build a color scheme from a photo. These bulbs are pricey, for sure. But, they create a great ambiance and you can change them depending on your mood or situation.

The lights are all over my house, and I love them, Had them for two years now, and no problems
