I love my hue lights. No one else is impressed. As a SAHD of an infant, hands free operation is an absolute must. The color range from the cool spectrum to the warm did ‘shock and awe’ my wife with a little visual science!

These are probably the best value hue bulb. Most of the light colors that you are going to want to use are in the warm white to cool white spectrum. I love the color bulbs but wish I had bought more of these instead.

Extra lighting

I really love the Philips Hue ecosystem, these bulbs included. Work well for wakeup routines or just being able to adjust the light color based on time of day. Would recommend and will buy again.

Love talking to my lights

I bought these for couple rooms to have smart functionalities. Some minor issues with app but overall great.

I feel I must warn you, these lights are addictive. These lights work very well and it can be tempting to put them in everything. I have Hue Smart Bulbs in my Living Room, Kitchen, and Family Room. These bulbs work best in places where the light switch might be difficult or inconvenient to reach. They are great for lamps in the corner or large rooms with lights control by multiple switches. I dont recommend them for lights controlled by switches you naturally turn on and off as you walk by; entry lights, bedrooms, laundry room. Because you need to leave the light switch on for the smart bulbs to work you dont wont someone accidentally turning them off. The light quality from the bulbs is fantastic. The dim feature has a very wide and nuanced ranged. The Hue App makes controlling all of the lights very easy. The Hue App has a fantastic feature of directly connecting to your Hue Bridge when you are on the same network. This makes controlling your lights through the app very responsive and easy. The control is near instantaneous. Hue has also made the control software for the lights open to everyone. Dont worry, no one will be able to hack your lights. To add new lights and devices you have to physically press a button on the Hue Bridge. But this means the Hue Bulbs have a ton of interconnection with other smart devices and platforms. I am able to pair my lights with my smart thermostat, smart doorbell, and home security system.

Kind of disappointing. I think the standard round Hue A19 bulbs are brighter and produce a better light, and are much cheaper. You can adjust these between various shades/warmths of white but I didnt find the level of contrast to be great, nor was the shade very pleasing. They didnt produce a strong light in the lamps into which I placed them. I ended up removing them, putting them in a ceiling fixture, and putting standard Hue A19 bulbs in the lamps, and those look much better. These are not worth the cost to me.
