If the monitor wont power on, unexpectedly dims, or starts to flicker, do not use your laptop as the power source. Use the supplied USB cable and the wall charger. Then try powering on your laptop WITHOUT the monitor connected and then plug it in after full boot-up. If the monitor is not automatically resolving to 4K (2840x2160) but seems stuck at HD (1920x1080), do not use a USB hub to connect the HDMI cable to your laptop. (Assuming your laptop graphics card can drive an external monitor at 4K but does not have a built-in 4K HDMI port itself.) Use a straight, in-line mini-HDMI to USB-C adapter. I highly recommend the one made by Anker (available on Amazon @ $18: https://a.co/d/2fbzmd5 ). If these steps dont work, contact Customer Service by email (much faster response than leaving a voice mail message). They will do everything humanly possible to help you.

Im shocked how well this works given it was the cheapest 4k portable monitor I could find. Matte finish is nice, its reasonably bright, latency is not bad. It even comes with built in speakers. Aluminum shell is a nice touch. No driver download needed either. Only complaint is a tiny bit of stuttering in 4k videos, which is somewhat typical for in my experience for 4k video through USB C non-thunderbolt. Overall this will be more than adequate for my accounting work on the go. Now when will they make a 17 inch version?

The first monitor I received had a defect, but customer service was very attentive, courteous, and quick to help and resolve the matter. I was sent the newest version of the model U156UH. The item arrived in only a couple of days. The image is stunning. The colors are vibrant. My PC confirms the 4K resolution and shows 60Hz capability. There are several visual settings including HDR. The sound works well. The cover that comes with it is nice and sturdy. The newer version is black and textured. Note that the menu button both pushes in and can move up and down at the same time. The image is stable with one HDMI cord and adapter. An extra adapter or cord will cause the image to flicker. Overall this is a great product with great customer service.

The screen quality and clarity are really great as well as the price. Worked right away on my Mac mini with just one included usdc cable. I plan on traveling with this monitor. I think the included case is okay for protecting it but it could be a little more stable when open. I wish these types of monitors had the USB c ports on the back instead of the side. Otherwise I’ll get a lot of use out of this monitor.

I was very impressed when I opened this product. I love that there is no branding and the monitor is slick and the design materials are of high quality. Feels sturdy and well built and not too heavy. When I plugged in I tested both my Mac book and Xbox Series X and the picture was excellent. After tweaking the settings I found you could turn on HDR which takes the monitor to the next level. This was very easy to do with the handy instruction manual. I was surprised to see how customizable the screen settings were in such a small package. This is exactly what I was looking for as a good traveling monitor. It will come in handy when I have surgery in a few weeks and will be in the hospital for several weeks. Highly recommend as a great universal monitor.

This monitor was easy to use with or without the included quick-start instructions, and the 4K 60Hz resolution + HDR mode worked without hassle on my work Mac laptop. I enabled Freesync but dont really have a way of testing if its working. Im getting a Lightning-to-HDMI adapter for my iPhone 13 to see if itll work with that too, as thats the main use case I got this for (to watch videos from my phone at a 2K or 4K resolution).

I ordered this monitor to two reasons: the first was to free up an old Mac Pro that I was about to reformat and sell. The second was to use as a third monitor with a new Mac Studio. In both cases, it was perfect for the job. Setting it up with the new Mac Studio was as simple as plugging it into a free USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 port. The port powered the monitor. The color is vibrant, the resolution is fantastic, and its just an excellent satellite monitor. For digital audio and video work, I can drag components to this monitor for metering, etc. Solid product at a decent price. I cant get over how gorgeous it is, with zero reflective glare.

Amazing clear picture, good contrast, no lag that is noticeable. Super portable. I can’t state enough how good the image is, the detail is off the charts!

Ive been using it as my everyday monitor for xbox series x for almost every day for about 2 months, Id had some issues with third party cables but I thought it was the cables so I just got and adapter for Normal hdmi, one day it suddenly stopped working with hdmi all together and started only taking usbc, I found a work around by using both usb c ports for power but now it wont even take the included mini hdmi anymore unless it has 2 power sources plugged in, but when it works it looks and works amazing but a very finicky experience and took a lot of adjusting
