The idea of the ball mount is genius in the sense that it makes taking your equipment off and putting it back on a very simple task. I would highly recommend the RAM mounts for any application in which they would work.

> 3 dayThis think is a monster ---- too big for my original project but its being used to support my ham-radio transceiver and is ideal. It handles the weight with no problems and is very convenient to move it up-down-around as needed. There are limits to the motion so be sure you do a trial run.
