This is hands down the best wireless gaming mouse I have ever owned. Ive never owned a mouse that was over $60, so I cant comment on more expensive mice, but this mouse meets every want/need I can think of (even with more conveniently placed buttons than I originally knew what to do with). Latency: I notice none on the 1000hz mode Rechargeable Battery Life: I havent been keeping accurate track, but it does last quite a few days with LEDs on (I work M-F 8 hours each day and it lasts for the whole week roughly). I love that its USB-C for charging/wired-mode. Comfort: If you are right handed and like this style, it is excellent. Buttons: The extra buttons are nice. In order to reconfigure the buttons, you do need to download the drivers from their website. There are multiple Red Dragon websites...one has the just the software which doesnt work while the other has the drivers+software which does work. 1 Con: The left mouse button is a little squeaky sometimes.

I was previously using a similar mouse but it was a wired version. The cord wasnt long enough so it kept falling off my computer chair mouse platform, and eventually broke. Im not using this mouse for gaming, I use it for music production and its pretty convenient. I set up the macro buttons to cut, copy, paste, undo and to control up-down volume settings. mouse has a good feel to it. The program/drivers worked fine for me on windows 10. Only complaint is the switch to turn mouse on and off is kind of hard to shift. I was scared i might break it by applying to much force, so i just use a pen to move it. Still would recommend. Will update review if any problems arise.

I use to be Logitech or Razer only, but decided to give this a try as a 2nd mouse on laptop. It looks very nice, works well. Had to goto their website and download their app, but easily programmable and wireless, but works fine connected as well. USBC connection. When battery is low, the scroll button pulses red.

Absolutely preem. It works and feels better than my older and more expensive Logitech, and it has a proper charge port. Enough said.

As someone who uses a palm-style grip, this mouse is amazingly comfortable. The overall curvature of the mouse fits my hand like a glove. The ring finger rest is an excellent feature that I wish more gaming mice incorporated. The LEDs look great. The sensor is very responsive and accurate. There are two cons that keep it from getting 5 stars, however. First, the scroll wheel feels a bit cheap so if you use it in your games you may want to look elsewhere. Second, for whatever reason the wireless USB dongle is large enough that it doesn’t sit flush inside its compartment on the underside of the mouse. This is a very unfortunate design oversight that baffles me to be quite honest. While it doesn’t affect the use of the mouse otherwise, this means you will not be able to use the mouse in wired mode while the wireless dongle is stored in its compartment. If these two flaws were corrected, this would perhaps be the perfect gaming mouse.

TL:DR it’s lovely, hooks up well, problems with finding download, fixed This mouse fits my hand very well, I am a woman with medium-sized hands and I could reach al buttons easily. I use a claw grip mostly. The only issue I had was in downloading the software. I could not find the M801 Sniper (which I received) only the M801 Mammoth. The problem lay in going to the website listed in the little booklet it came with, which said to go to “redragonzone.com” - don’t! The box it comes in also has information on a sticker which tells you to go to “redragonusa.com” (if you are in the US obviously). This is where you will find your product to download the proper software. It was a breeze to set up the keybindings then!

This is my second Redragon gaming mouse. Ive used the Perdition MMO mouse for many years and was always pleased with its performance, however I found using a device with fewer buttons better for different game styles, notable FPS games. Im an older gamer whos hands arent as nimble as they were when I was young and the SNES was groundbreaking. This is a very comfortable mouse. There are places to rest your thumb and ring finger, the side buttons are very well placed in reach of your thumb, and much like my trusty Perdition, theres a small button to the top left of the LMB, nicely within reach and perfect for binding certain in-game actions, but not others. One of the side buttons works better for jumping because you can still shoot while jumping. It has a rechargeable internal battery which charges thru a USB-C port. Luckily you can use the mouse wired to your PC while charging. After some research and tweaking, I was able to make the Sniper work on my PS4, a notoriously peripheral-unfriendly console. You cannot simply plug & play unless your game has native keyboard/mouse support, and not many do. What I did was this: I have an older Tuact Venom peripheral, consisting of a mouse, wand, and hub. The Venom mouse died, so I connected the Sniper Pro wireless dongle to the hub. In the Sniper software AND the Venom software, bind the side buttons to the same keys (Space, R, E, C) IN BOTH software. Then connect the Tuact hub to the PS4 (flip the switch to PS, connect the controller and turn on) and it works. For best results, use a hardware setup specifically designed for console use. There are some cons. First, the software is tricky to get. Ignore the manual, Google redragon m801p-rgb or redragon sniper pro and make damn sure the software/drivers you install say SNIPER PRO. No other Redragon software will work. It took me 3 tries to get the correct software. You CANNOT set the LED color of the scroll wheel. It stays green no matter what you do, until your battery starts to drain. This is your battery indicator. I like a red color scheme to my peripherals and this displeases me. Second con is the storage slot for the wireless dongle renders the mouse useless. It lifts the mouse just enough so that the optical sensor doesnt register movement. Youll have to find some place to store the dongle so that it doesnt become a cat toy. Overall, a very pleasing gaming mouse for a good price from a reliable company.

I have a wired Redragon mouse (the M601) for my desktop that I absolutely love and that cost a whopping $14. Because of how much I love the mouse, I thought Id stick with the brand for my new gaming laptop. This one was 4x the price and I honestly dislike it more and more every time I use it. Lets talk pros: its pretty. I enjoy the rainbow colors and unlike my cheap mouse, the software actually works with this one. So thats cool. I also like the size/shape of it. Even with rather petite hands, its a comfortable grip. Unfortunately, there are more cons and pros. The biggest issue I have is it squeaks like crazy and just on the left click and it isnt a soft squeak either. This drives me absolutely crazy! The left click also lacks a crisp feeling and just feels incredibly cheap while also often being unresponsive. The battery life is.... not great. 2 hours is all it gets you unless youre on Eco, and honestly whats the point of an RBG gaming mouse if its going to die after 2 hours unless you disable the RBG feature? This is a minor thing to me, but annoying nonetheless. The scroll wheel can be slow to respond as well and the DPI feels inconsistent regardless of what setting I have it on. I just overall really dont care for this mouse. Im planning to return and trying a different Redragon wireless, but well see how it goes.

I use this ReDragon Sniper Pro with CAD software. Being able to program all of the buttons is very handy. The lights? At first, I thought that it was a bit Vain, HOWEVER, I soon discovered that late at night, when Im in a complex project, and I have to lean back and think about it..... It gets my eyes off of the screen. And that, I think, is a very beneficial thing. The price tag is actually: Outstanding
