Best expansion set yet; (yes, I own them all, including the promos)!!! LOVE, love, love all of the new elements this game introduces! Definitely not for beginners but dont be afraid to give these cards a try! They appear intimidating initially but, as with any set, if you simply take a moment to read each card and follow instructions, they are self-explanatory! The recommended kingdom sets are ridiculous, as usual, and youll have way more fun if you choose to create your own meeting your individual fun game standards. I prefer to have at least one +2 actions card, one +1 buy card, 1 attack card and at least one card at each buy level. Give this a try; youll be so happy you did! Great expansion! I have yet to play with other sets, but I have greatly enjoyed 2, 3, and 4 player games with this set alone. I would not recommend playing this set with any new players. Even the gentle intro requires a lot of thinking and strategy. If someone is just learning the rules they might feel discouraged to play again. Great expansion for enthusiasts like myself, but hold off on introducing this set to new players.

Another great expansion for Dominion!

Brings in some new mechanics that are very different then previous expansions. But also builds on the things that I have always loved about Dominion.

Fun new expansions for Dominion are always welcome. This one is just as fun as the others, bringing back duration cards and a more extensive upgrade mechanic. However, this expansion includes lots of tiny pieces (more than just coins and mats), that are only used for specific cards. I feel like the designers could have tried harder to incorporate fewer pieces among a broader range of the new cards.

We live this addition to our base set. The duration cards and events add an extra leve to the game.

Ive enjoyed the variety that events add to this game. The art on the cards is better than in some of the other expansions (although, I think Cornucopia had the best illustrations), and the actual cards are great fun.

My wife and I love to play Dominion. We have grown to love all the expansions. We first got into dominion because of the ease to pick up and play. It was easy to teach friends when they came over and it has that addictive component that brings you back. Adventures does what almost all the expansions do. They add more to the game and as you advance in the game it keeps you on your toes. The cards can be confusing but just like all other expansions it just comes down to following the cards word for word. Adventures does a nice job at blending some things players have liked in the past but also adding the new touches. I am not going into details because other reviews seem to do that well enough. I would suggest if you are looking to start Dominion or if you are new to Dominion and wanted to get more involved, this one might be a later one to pick up, only because of the complexity and learning curve. The others slowly introduce some of the cards in this game so it might be helpful and less confusing if you slowly introduce them as you go along. I do like this expansion and I cannot wait to dive into it more.
