This is the best Dominio expansion in my opinion. It adds more duration cards to the game which is nice, but it also as upgradable cards, which I find very intriguing. It also adds event cards, giving you additional options during your buy phase, essentially giving you an extra action. Probably adds more to the game than any other expansion Ive played.

Adventures is really fun. Even more fun than the original Dominion game.

I am a huge Dominion fan! It is my favorite game of all time, and I have played thousands of games online. For the purpose of my review I want to focus on three things: The quality of the cards and game components, how casual players may enjoy this expansion, and how people who have played with most or all the expansions may feel about this expansion.

As an avid table top gamer Dominion has long been one of my favorite deck builders and when I needed to replace my original base set Amazon made it easy and affordable. I highly recommend it to someone looking for a game that offers endless ways of play and a game where no two rounds are ever the same. Though youll learn to hate the Bandid card like I do lol

One of my personal favorites, although not for everyone. This expansion adds many different elements to the game, tavern may, tokens, event cards and much more. All of these goodies are very fun to play with and bring a lot more strategy and thinking to the game, but they also extend the game by a fair amount. If you’re looking for an intense expansion to Dominion, one that adds multiple layers and a longer game, look no further.

I thought we didnt need another expansion, but I was wrong. This expansion has great cards and great mechanics that add to the Dominion experience. Highly recommend.

much better than I thought

Prior to purchasing this expansion, I had the 2nd edition of Dominion and Intrigue, Prosperity, and Hinterlands, which I bought in that order. I was looking for my next expansion to be something really different, as all those expansions seemed to be fairly similar. I was a bit intimidated purchasing Adventures (the most recent expansion at the time of my purchase), and was even more intimidated when I opened the box. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised by my enjoyment with it so far. Everything seemed massively complex at first and way above my head, but if nothing else trying all the new mechanics was just darn fun and added a lot more replay value to even the same kingdoms. The variety of cards is really there, with all sorts of things to play around with both new and old (my favorite are the reserve cards). I think to people much more familiar with other expansions it might be less impressive, but with a good mix of old and unique mechanics, this expansion seems to me like the one to go to if youre feeling adventurous.
